Macho Macho Man: The Theory About The Message Hidden In 'Predator'
On the surface, 1987's #Predator is just another Aliens-esque beat em' up where hardened fighters square off against an alien menace. While Arnie was busy getting to the "choppa," his fellow commandos were busy being sliced and diced by the alien dreadlocked menace, is there actually more of a statement on masculinity than we first thought? While John McTiernan's film might seem like a gory romp through the jump, the deaths of the crew seem to be more of a symbolic representation of their overcompensating masculinity than first thought.

A Netflix Movie to Avoid: 'Parallels' Reviewed
If you're like me and like to binge watch movies and TV shows on Netflix than you've probably come across one or two movies that have surprised you for all the wrong reasons. #Netflix seems to cater for almost anything you're heart could desire (well within reason) and sometimes it's hard to tell a turkey from an audience favorite. I'm usually a decent judge of character when it comes to movies however recently the "movie" Parallels blindsided me and I was left scratching my head for most of the evening. Latest 'Alien: Covenant' Image Hints At Trailer And A Face-Hugging Tribute To 1986's 'Aliens'
There are two types of people: those who think Ridley Scott's Alien is the greatest chest-bursting entry in the outer space franchise, and those that think James Cameron's Aliens is the pinnacle of ass-kicking, sass-mouthed, marine madness. While it may be Scott who is directing the upcoming Alien: Covenant, it looks like it's assholes and elbows as we tool up for the oncoming xenomorph attack. Could Scott be taking a leaf out of Cameron's book as we head down a more militarized attack on the acid-spitting creatures.

'Star Trek'—Celebrating 50 Years of Logical Friendship
When I saw the original Star Trek for the first time, it had already been off the air for several years. Though much time had passed, the show captured my attention like it must have the original Trekkies back in 1966. Though the space and science fascinated me, the characters drew me in more. I couldn't imagine a human and a half-alien being best friends.
