Full Moon Ritual
These photos were taken during a very special full moon in the Amazon jungle. I was volunteering to do medicinal plant research guided by a Shaman who had the most beautiful, gentle, inspiring and captivating soul. He was one of those mesmerizing people you just wanted to be around and listen to even though there was a language barrier; fortunately, a translator was provided.

I See You
I was a lousy student. I never did anything special with my life. I certainly not invented the wheel nor the four-hole button. I was like half of the population, boringly ordinary. I lived the first 20 years of my life in the shadow of my big brother who was a pop star (God help me). He wasn't just a singer, he was also an asshole—really big one. Everything seems to fall into his lap, the women, the money, the popularity. As for me, I was left hanging dry by all members of my own family. I suppose I wasn't rich enough for them to notice me or to care for that matter.

Review of 'Counterpart' 2.6
Well, I was right when I said in my review of Counterpart 2.5 that there was only one Yanek in the present, because he had killed his counterpart. I was wrong that Emily was/is his daughter—though Mira, especially older, does look a lot like Emily. All of this in last night's Counterpart 2.6, plus at last a back story that tell us how the two worlds got here, and how the flu arose that wiped out so much of prime.

No Such Thing as Pure
The curtains on my eyes spread open. I sat up in bed with my hand on my chest and looked over at Justin sleeping on my right. I lifted my hand and stroked his hair, gazing at his blissful face with familiar eyes of love for him and envy that he could sleep without much to worry about. That night wasn’t my first time seeing the Devil in my sleep, but it was my first time in years that I felt anxious after seeing him. I could still hear the last words spoken before I woke up:

Review of 'Outlander' 4.8
Another memorable episode—4.8 —of Outlander, featuring Brianna and Roger together at last, the return of Bonnet, and even George Washington (in 1768 still a colonel) thrown in. Unfortunately, only George Washington's thread had a happy ending. The British governor is going to eye to keep an eye on him, but we know that won't get in the way of our future first President.

Review of 'Outlander' 4.7
Another altogether satisfying and wonderful episode of Outlander—4.7—as Brianna finally embarks on her journey to save her parents. 200 years in the past in North Carolina, by way of the same path her mother first took all those years ago in Scotland.

Understanding the Energy of Capricorn
Cold like the winter season, Capricorn unlike its counterpart Cancer is all about business. This sign has no time to dwell on emotions and matters of the heart. Individuals who have a heavy Capricorn energy in their birth chart may come across as cold, bossy, desensitized, and even a bit judgmental. They are highly concerned with their status and can exert their authority on others. These people can make the rudest and toughest bosses in the workplace. Also, they may have a deep love and passion for the routine lifestyle.

Review of 'The Orville' 2.4
An instantly classic episode of The Orville—2.4—last night, in which Billy Joel plays a role. Yes, his long retirement tour proved to be a ruse for a trip in a time machine he took 400 years into the future to join the crew of the Orville. No, actually it was the music of Billy Joel that played a role last night, and it's thoroughly believable that it would still be listened to and much admired by Captain Mercer.

Greek Entities Story
I'm Athena. I've had to provide the wisdom for the gods and the Greek mortals. Ares isn't wise on his own. He goes in, checks ablaze, and makes a mess of the enemy while I'm left having to clean it up. Nike shows up for about a second to declare Ares's side victorious again, then I come in and console the families of the dead on both sides. Ares does his victory walk without a care in the world because his only goal was to win yet another victory. He usually feels the need to do so right after Zeus has lauded Herakles to him, after he gained yet another victory. They both relied on their strength from being divine and semi-divine.
