Review of 'The Orville' 2.5
An outstanding episode 2.5 of The Orville last night, I'd say best of the season so far. It had everything you'd want from a starship making first contact, including a neat solution to the Star Trekian non-interference prime directive.

10 Terrifying Glitch in the Matrix Stories
Did you ever have a moment where you recalled something that everyone else seems to remember differently? If so, you are probably well aware of the Mandela Effect. The Mandela Effect is defined as the phenomenon of a large group of people misremembering a particular event or aspect of the past.

Review of 'Anon'
Andrew Niccol's Gattaca in 1997 remains one of the surprise all-time best science fiction movies, surprise because Gattaca was Niccol's first. His follow-up, The Truman Show in 1998, was even more lionized by some, but I didn't like it nearly as much as Gattaca, which was stunning in its mix Brave New World totalitarian life and the yearning for space travel. I've seen some of Niccol's subsequent movies, but I honestly can't recall them.

Review of 'Project Blue Book' 1.3
I'm continuing to enjoy Project Blue Book — a science fiction story based on some actual events. Along those lines, it would be a great twist if Hynek himself was an extraterrestrial, wouldn't it. Such a move would have about the same relationship to reality as most of the other high points in this series.

'Dune' 2021 Preview
Frank Hebert's seminal and much-loved opus is finally getting a remake the source material deserves. For those unfamiliar with the classic story imagine Dune as an intergalactic Game of Thrones crossed with Star Wars, where young Paul Atreides and his family is targeted by an evil galactic emperor and Paul becomes the leader of the Fremen a group of native rebels where both sides fight over control of the ‘spice’ an element only found on the planet Arrakis. It is an addictive substance that makes space travel possible and remember ‘He who controls the spice controls the universe,’ and it also has giant sandworms.

'Blake's 7: Warship'—Review
One of Big Finish's most exciting products in their Blake's 7 range has to be their very first full-cast audio, Warship. After a number of narrated Liberator Chronicle releases and books, Warship was perhaps the closest Big Finish had got to telling an authentic Blake's 7 story up till that point. Set in the gap in between series two and three, and telling the story of the Liberator's fight against the alien fleet featured in the final episode of series two, this is a tight, exciting audio drama. While hardly being novel or original, is an exciting story that bridges the gap between series two and three fantastically, and offers Jenna and Blake the departure from the Liberator that they weren't afforded in the TV series.

Them
During the slow crawl over the vast, hard packed snow, Isse had to stay in her cabin, out of the way of the men working. Her father would absolutely beat her if she ventured out. She had her flingdisc, though, and spent the time teaching it to rove in circles around her small cabin or drop suddenly from the height of the ceiling, stopping dead just before it hit the floor. Or she would organize and reorganize her furs, making sure for the tenth time that they were all there, ready for when she would set foot outside.
