As a Huge Fan of 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture', the Big Screen Experience Proves a Letdown
After 10 years in rerun wilderness, Star Trek: The Motion Picture rolled out in the winter of 1979. I saw the TV commercials, and I was ready to take the conn with old crew and newly engaged engines. But the reviews were bad, and when my brother asked me to go see it, I declined. I eventually saw TMP on TV—save a bit too much gasping at the gas cloud—I absolutely loved it. So the omission became a lifelong regret that I didn’t see it in the theaters, and when 40 years triggered a new theatrical release, I knew what I had to do. As it turns out, that decision may have been in error.

James Reviews - 'Alita: Battle Angel'
Anime and manga adaptations have been a tricky subject for Hollywood, and when I say "tricky" I mean "they manage to make it so horrendously awful." However, after 2017s Ghost in the Shell, there are hints that they're learning and getting better at bringing the source material to the screen. With Alita: Battle Angel, it's safe to say that the age of good live-action anime movies may finally be upon us. Sure there's some melodramatic acting and villains that never become three-dimensional characters, but the action is packed with excitement and Rodriguez's style is found all over the place.

Swift and Blithe
“You mean I can’t even get a square? No e-cigs? Nothing?” The woman shook her head no and placed a patch on her arm. Her eyes rolled back in her head. “Damn, that feels good.” This spring day, where the blossoms have burst open bearing the gifts of the trees, saw the predawn decades before the Great Transition in the state of Delaware. Before every right was respected, the lawmakers had to tinker with the apparatus. Yellin Boer, gaunt and smart in dress and appearance, strolled up to the counter to buy some nicotine gum.

Air Signs (November Energy Readings)
Gemini, have you ever thought of a thought that was so thoughtless that it sent you into a spiral of never ending thought loops? Looks like we (fellow Gemini here) got so caught up in what we haven't learned yet as opposed to focusing on the current lesson and not the next five levels ahead. We were pushed in October to stop thinking of life as a race or game. Some of us got too dependent on up holding an image and maintaining some sort of imaginary status in this world, but we had to remember somehow we will always stand out regardless. Remembering how you earned your stripes and releasing the grip on our needs to have everything perfect was so important coming out of October and into this month. Whatever we thought was perfectly built up got perfectly smashed down anyway, especially if it was on shaky grounds and beliefs.

Review of 'Terminator: Dark Fate'
So here we go again. The critics panned it. The box-office in the first few days is not impressive. All manner of self-appointed prognosticators pronounce the franchise deader than an outmoded Terminator model, because that's what it is.

Astrology of the 2020 Elections: Pete Buttigieg
Introduction In 2016, I saw that the astrological community was very divided on who was going to win the presidential elections, but I noticed that these astrologers had one thing in common: their predictions were driven more by bias than astrology. Hilary Clinton supporters were predicting her win, while Trump supporters predicted his win. Not once did I see a Democrat predict Trump's victory nor did a Republican predict Clinton's. For someone actually wanting to study astrology, it was very disappointing.

Water Signs (November Energy Readings)
Well. We have finally made it to your season Scorpio, how do you feel? Most of you have matured into some understanding within yourself that has took some time to ground. You could be wanting to step out of your cave and venture off but you are still afraid of the unknown. "What if it doesn't provide me what I'm wanting or what I deserve?" you may ask yourself because let's just say, October you could have felt like you had some pretty cringe moments and this has led to your troubling thoughts and apprehension. Trust me, I know exactly how far you have been taking it internally which is why you have been doing nothing but analyzing from the sidelines.
