The western zodiac sun sign is not enough to pinpoint who we are entirely. I have investigated this matter for the purpose of gaining a better understanding of the light within that powers my spirit and soul.

I have not always aligned strictly with the ways of a Scorpio sun. Although I am proud to be a Scorpio, I have concluded that taking into consideration other factors such as my complete birth chart, Chinese astrological sign of wood rat, my Mayan day sign of crocodile, together with a galactic tone of 8 has helped me to unravel bits and pieces of the mystery that makes me who I am .

The discussion of the influence of the cosmos on human nature is a rather complex one; since many factors must be taken into consideration such as karma, reincarnations, guardian angels, and a whole conglomeration of planetary orientations and galactic vibrations that affect our cosmic makeup as well as the attributes granted to us by the gods, heaven, and the land we are born and nourished from.

My Mars is in Capricorn and this is the house that contributes most to my overall personality. As a result, I share similar personality traits that are normally attributed to the sign that governs my first house. The energy attributed to this alignment influences the nature of my low key yet determined energy. I am constantly planning for the future mostly motivated by material gains and often times can come off as overly ambitious and power hungry, but my conservative nature allows balance to not overstep any boundaries. These attributes mixed with the energy of mysterious Scorpio Sun allows me to hold my future plans in reserve for the best moment to implement them.

The influence of wood rat in my cosmic map allows me to further use those attributes to my best interest, being low key is not a problem for me because it allows me to observe my surroundings while helping me avoid conflicts and unnecessary discussions. The determination in the rat is what makes me hardworking seeming to always be able to navigate the maze of life and like a rat I plan my future always scouting for the best opportunity and often times have sneakily forged my way onto the road of success.

The crocodile reinforces these attributes even further as crocodiles preserve their energy, are mysterious, and always patiently waiting for the right catch. The influence of crocodile as my day sign makes me very family oriented and as a result am prone to the energies passed down by my ancestors which affects the formative field of the acquisition of my personality.

Galactic tone of 8 reinforces my love for the finer things in life which is not limited to materialistic endeavors. My Scorpio nature leads to a balance between materialistic pursuits in turn redirecting my energies to the attainment of the mysteries of the universe, spiritual truths, and esoteric knowledge, which are food to my soul. The influence of this energy, however, makes me prone to seeking out materialistic benefits for the purpose of gifting to my loved ones.

My Sagittarius in Venus in regard to my house of personal finances and possessions further removes me from personally drowning in materialism as the energy in this lineup allows me to find satisfaction and comfort with the basic necessities, allowing me to feel comfortable and luxurious with what I have. Any limitations and how it affects my freedom are seen in this lineup; and the power struggles I deal with in my first house are defined as having the power to come and go as I please.

Capricorn in my Jupiter grants me the ability of a practical approach to problem solving. Additionally, this lineup allows me to cherish time above all and accept the realization that time is the most valuable resource given, as a result I am not quick to rush into a career position strictly for pay but rather will look for one that grants me leadership, management of time, and personal status.

Naturally rats love to roam and seek out sustenance and as the title of the lord of plenty may be attributed to the rat, a Sagittarius in Venus secures the power to believe the notion that I will always have what I need and as an added bonus Scorpio is the natural ruler of money, gifting it to those born under the planetary influence of the constellation. Still, that does not mean I will not work for what I want because of the hard-working influences present in my first house and day sign of crocodile. I will work for what I feel benefits me and mostly my loved ones, all while directing myself with discipline, commitment, and a step-by-step approach to reaching my goals.

Galactic tone of 8 tells me that I would be happiest keeping myself occupied with travel, learning about other cultures, possibly retiring to a beautiful, exotic, and remote land to enjoy my internal mental dialogue, possibly giving all my money away to charitable social causes, in my later years.

Scorpios are naturally the symbol of creation and death, the guardians of the goddess Isis, loyal to the core. Their sting brings both aphrodisiac pleasures and death. This zodiac sign mostly attracts others because of their piercing eyes and the intense energy they give off, but Scorpio being in my house of communication makes me very distanced and careful of my private affairs. Naturally, secretive Scorpio sun and Mercury Scorpio makes me not very fond of spoken communication, I thrive in research and unraveling investigative pursuits. My need for status and power drive me to share the information discovered only for the purpose of conveying the fact that I cannot be easily manipulated and to naturally secure a position of authority over my affairs.

Additionally, I have Scorpio in Pluto energy which powers my determination for attaining my goals. This lineup does not know the meaning of defeat as the planetary ruler of the underworld paired with Scorpio and Crocodile day lends me a resilient nature that allows me to cope extremely well with loss. Crocodile however makes me very family oriented and as a result makes any loss of family my greatest weakness.

As a Pluto in Scorpio person, I am not easily understood due to my mystical and hermetical nature. A sage once told me that those born under Pluto Scorpio were in their last reincarnation and may often find life redundant often times opting for detachment from common popular activities and mannerisms. I am very traditional in my ways of thinking, conservative only in what benefits me and those I love.

I have only scratched the surface of the astrological influences on my personality due to the fact that astrology is a poorly understood science whose anatomy has not been thoroughly investigated and given the merit it deserves.
