Why Audio Porn Is So Much Better Than Regular Porn

I know what some of you are probably thinking; “What drugs is this chick on? No way audio porn is better than regular porn”.

Hear me out.

I’m a pretty sexual person, but I’m VERY specific. Some would say “picky”, but the bottom line is I know what I like and what I don’t. What I don’t like doesn’t work for me. Period. End of story. What DOES work for me has a profound effect on me. So when I first found audio porn a little over three years ago, I knew it was made for me and my turn-ons from day one. Since then, I can’t go a night without listening to someone’s recordings. It fulfills two parts of my life; 1) it gives me something for… playtime. 2) it actually helps me sleep. Sounds odd, but a lot of the guys I listen to have those voices that are the right tone to be relaxing but not boring.

So audio porn is a necessary part of my life. Meanwhile, regular porn has actually been very boring to me for several years. I still watch on occasion but not as frequently as I listen to audio porn.

So allow me to break down why HEARING your porn is SO much better than WATCHING it.

1. It’s a lot cheaper—as in FREE!

While it’s true that you can watch internet porn for free on most sites, you’re still limited as to what you have access to. If you want to get the good shit, you gotta drop money for a monthly subscription to the site of your choice. And most of those subscriptions are on the more expensive side; like fifteen dollars or more.

Meanwhile, you can listen to quality audio porn FOR FREE using Reddit forums like GoneWildAudio. Worst case scenario, if you find someone you really like and they’ve decided to make this their profession, you gotta drop a dollar a month on Patreon. That’s way more affordable that any monthly subscription to a porn website. And even so, those audio porn artists who use Patreon still post some of their stuff for free to the general public. It’s just the really complicated recordings and special requests that are usually blocked behind a paywall.

2. No viruses—yet.

I say “yet” because, unfortunately, the moment I say this, the trolls are probably going to try to overwhelm the sites. Some sites may not make it possible since I’ve never seen a single add (which is another perk) but that doesn’t mean that people aren’t going to try to ruin it for the rest of us.

But FOR NOW, I don’t have to worry about viruses getting into my computer like I would with regular porn websites. In this day an age, that kind of safety is priceless.

3. It encourages the use of your imagination instead of doing everything for you.

Now, let’s talk about the more personal side of my argument.

Part of what makes regular porn so boring to me these days is that it does all the work for me; the hardest part of the job is typing in what I want to watch. Now, I’m sure some people are thinking, “That’s what you want from porn!” But the fact is, it isn’t. Regular porn makes you lazy, and it does nothing beyond its intended purpose—assuming it even does that. It doesn’t stimulate your mind, and for women like me, the mind needs to be stimulated as much as the body does. Regular porn also doesn’t encourage sexual creativity.

But audio porn DOES stimulate the mind and encourage sexual creativity. How? Because only one of your senses is being engaged, that being your sense of hearing. When you find an audio recording you like, you have to fill in the blanks with what turns you on the most. You have to imagine what the speaker looks like, feels like, smells like… tastes like. All you have to work with is the voice of the person speaking, the sounds they make, and descriptions of what they are doing or want to do. The rest is up to you and your imagination. And there is nothing sexier than a sexy imagination.

And, believe it or not, the more attention to detail that goes into the recording, the more your imagination can be engaged. What do I mean? You’d think this applies to typical porn, but it doesn’t. There are actually HUGE gaps in the video porn industry. For example, good luck finding anything like a Caregiver/Little dynamic that isn’t some teenager screwing their parent, step-parent, or aunt/uncle. Even in the BDSM side of porn, the closest you get is the occasional bondage porn where the sub calls the dom in the scene something like “Daddy” or “Mommy”. That alone doesn’t fulfill what you want to see in a CG/l dynamic.

But audio porn? It covers the WHOLE spectrum of a CG/l dynamic. From princesses/princes all the way down to brats. From good days to bad days. Pillow forts and new stuffed animals. The delicate natures of little and caregiver space. From playtime to comfort to punishment to aftercare. And speaking of aftercare…

5. It covers the stuff you don’t see in regular porn (i.e. aftercare)

Another big gap in most video porn these days is the before and the after. Only a few people like KinkU (kink dot com’s series of BDSM informational videos) cover what HAS to happen in their scenes. You have to check in with your partner to see what they like, what they’re willing to try, and what they are ABSOLUTELY uncomfortable with. For the most part, the only thing you see in video porn is the sub confirming that they know the safe words, and even that is unlikely to show up in a video.

Video porn also rarely shows what happens after a scene, and if they do, it’s usually little more than an interview between the dom and sub to see how they felt about the scene. And by then, most people have come and clicked off the video. If they haven’t come yet, they still click off the video and they go to find something else to get the job done.

Audio porn MAKES you listen to the whole thing, and unless it’s part of a very specific genre (i.e. Consensual Non-Consent) you can hear the recorder ask the listener (or in some cases, their partner) what they want to do, if they are sure their ready, confirming the safe words, and providing pretty detailed aftercare. In fact, there are audios where it is specifically scripted that the listener uses their safe word and you get to see how the dom is SUPPOSED to react when the safe word is used (hint: it’s not what Christian Grey did).

We have all heard the argument that porn gives an inaccurate idea of what sex is like, and that argument isn’t completely wrong. This is because people don’t see the whole picture of what goes into a production. Meanwhile, audio porn includes everything in a way that feels organic yet still fulfills your fantasy. That’s why audio porn is so superior.

F_Stop_Fitzgerald – This one is the darkest of our options; often his audios flirt with the line of consent, and he makes sure that you know this before you listen. After all, these audios are supposed to make you relax; not induce anxiety or bring up a bad memory. But yes, if you’re into darker situations, I would recommend Fitz here. You won’t be disappointed.
