Truth Spell: A simple spell that can utilize a human-like doll, known as a Figure Veritas, to force the truth. When used as such and the doll is stabbed through the "heart", the target will be compelled to tell their darkest truths.

Requirements: Figure Veritas, Knife.

The Coven Gathers

Witch 1: "We have always helped the people of our town with our potions, advice, and the odd spell. People sometimes find us a little weird and even forbidding, but they are always grateful for everything we do for them. Now three of our sisters are in the town prison, but there by members of the Business Guild. They are accused of 'Witchcraft', nothing specific, just 'Witchcraft'"

Witch 2: "Why are they doing this they know we are an asset to the town and pose no threat. We have never hurt anyone or practiced the dark arts, so why have they done this to our sisters".

Witch 3: "They are doing this because they are weak men, and see the help we give freely as a threat to their businesses as apothecaries and doctors and advisers, and to them any threat to their money must me dealt with and examples set. After the summing up at their trial in two days they will be burned as a warning to us, and anyone who does not kowtow to The Business Guild"

Witch 4: "All the witnesses thought they were speaking up for our sisters when they said that we had helped them with our Craft, curing ailments, and advising them how to grow plants for themselves and many other things, but the word that was focused on as an accusation was 'Witchcraft' and in the eyes of the Business Guild this was all that they will need to pronounce there final guilty verdict. Our sisters are not allowed to defend themselves because they are witches."

Witch 1: "We must take action to save our innocent sisters and to bring The Business Guild to heel. They are only doing this because what they see is a threat, but what it actually is is a benefit to them, and they need to be made to see that.

If someone has a cold or fever, we can help them with a potion or incantation, but if they need an operation or to fix a broken leg, that is for the doctors, they really don't want to be bothered with the small things, and that is what we take care of."

Witch 2: "We will cast a truth spell, we have ten Veritas Figures made with hair and nail clippings of every Business Guild member and we have a knife and the incantation which will turn this trial upside down and see our sisters walk free and mean that all of us will be free from persecution going forward as the members of the Business Guild will know that we can make them tell the truth in front of the whole town, and that will curb their violent ambitions. Weak men are frightened of the truth, especially when they are forced to tell it."

Witch 3: "All hold hands, I will take the knife to the Veritas figures and we will all say the Truth Spell together and free our innocent sisters"
