Three
A Tale Inspired By "Nighttime Delight" by Carl B Parker

Introduction
This tale is inspired by the wonderful "Nighttime Delight" which you can buy here from Carl B Parker:

The song is "Out With the Crow" by The Haunted Windchimes
Three
There had always been three, and they met each night of the full moon on the branch of the night tree.
The ones that saw them called them "A Murder", but these crows were special. They looked out for those who needed help, and they talked over what they had found over the last month, as they did every full moon.
They heard about lost keys, wedding rings and even pets, and this gathering of crows endeavoured to find the lost things and return them to their owners, although cats and dogs could sometimes be a bit obstreperous; (hence the phrase "like herding cats").
Without these three, so many things would have remained lost, and the people of the village always thanked God and not The Crows when their lost things were returned.
The Crows were fine with this; they lived their lives unbothered by others and were always happy to help others, even without any thanks, because they knew what they were doing was the right thing to do.
So next time you see three crows together, they may be deciding on which lost things they are going to search for, find and return. So always leave them alone and give them the time and space they need.

This was a very positive and wonderful take on crows. I don't like it when people associate bad things with crows and black cats. Loved your story!
I do believe crows like shiny things too. This is a great way to 'see' a crow and not just as a harbinger of doom. Good job.
Mike this is one od my favorites from you. There is something special here.
I always wonder what a murder of crows is up to when I see them together
Great story, crows are awesome. One of these days, I will make friends with one, then it will go out and collect trinkets for me. LOL
Iβve always loved crows (of course, they like to follow me around, so I donβt have much of a choice). This story reminds me of an Aesop fable. Nicely written with a good lesson at the end.
