They Murdered The Clown
And We Are Now In A Civil War
This was the plan.
We wanted our leader to be seen as a real-life hero.
So at the rally, we put him in Kevlar with blood sacs so that when he got hit, he would still be standing and he could raise his fist. Who wouldn't vote for a super man like that?
Our gunman was to use blanks and aim for the body.
The idiot used live bullets and blew his head off.
We took the idiot out and then got the media to say the assassination was the other side. People believe anything they hear on television.
Our supporters started rioting all over the country.
Gun and ammunition sales are through the roof, I don't know where they are finding the money because no one is working now.
The government is gone and there is a sort of military law, but it is us against them.
Other countries have withdrawn support, they just expect us to kill each other.
And that is where we are, Civil War, and this won't end until there is no one left to fire a gun.

Iβm being redundant of some other comments here, but this truly is close to reality. Of course, as Dana said, it might not even take something this drastic to start a Civil War with the way things are going. A truly spine-tingling story for how true it isβ¦but also a bit humorous in a dark way for the very same reason. Well done.
