Wearing his best suit, Peter strutted around the wedding reception area as if he owned the building.
From the moment he saw Paula, they were inseparable soul mates.
Six months later, Peter thought about how he would propose on Valentine's Day.
The gray skies opened up. Large fluffy white snowflakes swirled from the sky. Outside their window, the landscape became a picturesque winter wonderland. Snow accumulated on the ground like a blanket of sparkling diamonds.
Observently, Peter had an epiphany. Deciding that once it stopped snowing, he would make a snow angel and a "Will you marry me?" message.
Afterward, Peter smiled and rubbed his nose. He was proud of his snow angel with the stomped and packed letters spelling out his proposal.
Awaking to the smell of coffee, Paula smiled sweetly at Peter.
"Happy Valentine's Day, I have something to show you!" Peter exclaimed.
Peter opened the curtains and gasped at the sight of falling snow. The snowstorm erased the snow angel and his message. Tears welled in Peter's eyes.
"Paula, the snow is sparkly, like your eyes," Peter whispered.
Instinctively Paula knew. Tacitly, Paula shook her head yes. From his robe pocket, Peter pulled out an engagement ring and placed it on her finger.

"Gram look! It's snowing on Valentine's Day! " exclaimed their grandchildren.
"Please tell us the story again!" the grandchildren shouted.
