The King Of Morning And The Queen Of Day
An Example For My July Challenge - My 3,100th Vocal Story
The King of Morning has been here forever, and he creates each dawn as he puts the moon and the stars to bed and wakes up the sun, preparing everything for his love, the Queen Of Day.
From her consort, she takes the rising sun, and she weaves about it, blue skies and clouds. Sometimes the clouds are pure white like fuzzy felt sheep, and sometimes they are filled with rain and snow, which fall down onto the fields and meadows to grow the farmers' crops as the sun shines.
The Queen Of Day dispenses sunlight and breezes, sometimes infused with rain, to keep the world growing and turning.
As the day draws to a close, she prepares to hand the sun and clouds to The King Of Morning, who wakes the moon and stars and prepares for the morning to come.
