The boy is sitting at the dining room table looking at the little box in found in the attic a few weeks ago. He is still wondering if he is going to open it or not. He is afraid but is very curious. He feels a slight breeze going through the house and he thinks it is just from outside for he left the front door open. He got up from the table and wandered around the table then he went out to shut the front door when he noticed that the attic door was slightly open a bit more than normal. The boy peeked in and not really knowing started to climb the stairs but for some reason he was going very slow up them and when he got to the top of the stairs, he sensed that something was not quite the same.
The attic seemed a little too drafty and the boy for some reason decided to go back down the stairs and open the box. He did not run down for he felt kind of calm. He reached the table and opened the box and inside that box there was a stone and not just a regular stone, but one that seemed to change colors. Then he went back up the attic stairs with the stone and placed it on the empty shelf right beside the window. All of the sudden there began what seemed to be a musical tone to the air in the attic and at the other end of the attic there was a bright light and an image was forming.

The Attic
Still on another night that started out on a really weird note for there was some sort of music playing from somewhere. The boy looked around downstairs and all around the outside of the house and nothing out of the ordinary was found, but he was still hearing music. He went back inside and noticed that the door to attic was slightly ajar and for some reason a light was flickering. He knew that there was no light up there from previous visits that he had made on other days and nights. He wavered about going up those steps, but curiosity got the better of him. He slowly ascended those steps for the music seemed to be getting louder. He reached the top and the light went out. He froze for just a minute, then he spoke up "What's up with the music?" It was nice in a weird way and entrancing. No answer was given. He wandered further into the attic and he spotted the rocking chair rocking back and forth and he approached slowly and simply said "I want to be your friend but I am afraid." "I would like to help you if I can to get you to the other side if you want to go." The rocking stopped and the light came back on and the music started again. The boy seemed not to be so jittery. He looked around and saw a box and he went over to it and picked it up. Nothing happened, but he did ask a question "Do you want me to take this box?" The music told the story for it was the boy's favorite song so he took that has a "Yes." He took the box and headed back down the stairs. He went to the table and sat it down not sure about opening it.
