1. Aesop's Fables

A little crow, very envious when the crow fortune teller.

The crow is loved by the people because of its foreknowledge of bad luck.

Seeing all this, the little crow is talking to himself. "If only I could read people's fates like that raven."

Can envy, the little crow can not have the talent of the crow.

So he decided to make up some nonsense first.

Just then he saw the people coming down the mountain road.

The little crow fluttered and sat on the branch.

He looked under the tree, hesitated for a moment, and then said bravely.

"Cluck, cluck! Ladies and gentlemen, let me give you a clue on the way forward."

Passers-by looked up, feel very incredible, laughing at the little crow: "Ah yi, startled. Oh, what do you mean by this little crow? It's hilarious."

But the little crow pestered the passers-by to read for him, until the passers-by could not bear it and threw stones at him.

The ridiculous fortune-teller, after being stoned, had to return to his nest.

2. Aesop's fables

There is a Wolf, very clever. He managed to get a piece of goat skin, put on the body, and the appearance of the goat is exactly the same. It took advantage of the shepherd's sheep just died, mixed with the sheep.

Ha ha, it that happy ah, it in the most fat sheep rub rub, like "rat fell into the rice bowl, rabbit fell into the peanut field."

The Wolf is idle during the day, aiming good "prey", and on the move at night. It eats the fattest and tenderest lamb every day, and eats almost indigestion for several days.

The shepherd finally found that the sheep were dwindling. He was surprised, for he kept a good watch during the day, and the fold was so high and dense that no Wolf from outside could get in. Besides, he had not heard the noise of the sheep being attacked in the night! He took a closer look at the feces that the sheep had pulled down in the pasture, and suddenly found a pile of "sheep feces" that was unusual. It contained fine bones that had not been digested.

The shepherd went to look at the tall sheep, and found a particularly dirty sheep skin, and it walked in a different way, the shepherd's heart was assured.

That night, the herdsman changed into night clothes, carrying a short knife, beside the sheepfold waiting. Sure enough, the sheep began to stir, and a large sheep howled darkly, and was about to muzzle one of the lambs, when the shepherd jumped out, and thrust his dagger into the Wolf's throat.

The next day, every family in the mountain village received fresh Wolf meat from the herdsman. The story of "the Wolf in sheep's clothing" was thus spread.

3. Aesop's Fables

A turtle was caught by a fisherman, so the turtle told a dream to the King of Song Yuanjun.

That night, when Lord Yuan of Song was sleeping, he saw a man with dishevelled hair peeping out of the side door. He said to Lord Yuan of Song, "I live in a deep pool named Zai Lu. On my way to Hebo on behalf of the water God of the Qingjiang River, I was caught by a fisherman named Yu Cha."

When Lord Yuan of Song woke up in the morning, he remembered his dream in the night and felt strange. So he asked someone to divinate the dream. The diviner said, "This is a dream written by a divine turtle to your Majesty." Lord Yuan of Song asked the men around him, "Is there a fisherman named Yu Qi?" Zuo Zuo replied, "There is a fisherman named Yu Qi." Therefore, Lord Yuan ordered his men to send a message to Yu and come to court.

The next day, Yu came to see Lord Yuan of Song. Lord Yuan asked him, "What did you catch when you were fishing?" Yu Jia replied, "I caught a big white turtle with a net. Its back is five feet long." Lord Yuan of the Song Dynasty ordered Yu to present the white turtle. I hurried home and presented the white turtle to Lord Yuan of Song Dynasty.

When Lord Yuan of Song got hold of this divine turtle, he wanted to kill it several times, and also wanted to raise it several times, but he was always hesitant. Finally, he had to ask a diviner to make the decision. The result of the divination was: "It is lucky to kill this turtle and use it for divination." Therefore, Lord Yuan of Song ordered the white turtle killed, cut out its intestines, and used the shell for divination, a total of 72 times, even every time it was successful.

Later, Confucius was deeply touched by this incident and said, "This miraculous turtle was capable of giving a dream to Lord Yuan of Song, but it was not capable of escaping from Yu and's net; It was wise enough to perform 72 divinations without failing to perform any of them, but it could not avoid the disaster of being gutted. So there are limits to wisdom, and there are things that wisdom cannot do."

This story tells us that the wisdom of one person, no matter how high, is not as good as the wisdom of others. Therefore, only with one heart and one mind, can we make things more comprehensive.

4. Aesop's Fables

The old Wolf sent the young Wolf out of the hole, to the edge of the forest to walk, and take a patrol. Take a lunch to see if you're lucky. If you want a bargain, it's a herder. The young Wolf should learn to make a living from his father.

The Wolf came running back and said, "Quick, come with me, my information is accurate, lunch is ready. There is a big sheep at the foot of the hill. Each sheep is fatter than the other. You can eat it with any one."

"Wait a minute," said the Wolf. "First I want to know what kind of man the shepherd is."

"I've heard that the shepherd is very clever. I've looked around the herd. The hounds are very poor and thin, and don't look very fierce."

The old Wolf shook his head and said, "If you say so, you won't succeed. Perhaps we will lose our lives, the shepherd is good, the hounds are not slack? Let's go! I'll guide you somewhere else, and our safety will be assured. The shepherds there are utterly confused. The shepherds are confused, and the number of hounds is of no use."

A cock was digging through a pile of manure when he found a pearl. He said, "What is the use of this? It's nothing but worthless junk! Were they not foolish to carry it so high? It seems to me that it would make me much happier to find a grain of barley, though it is not very big, but it will fill my stomach."

Ignorant people always judge things in this way, whatever they do not understand, they feel useless.

Floating in the river was a clay pot and a copper pot. The earthen pot said to the bronze pot, "Keep away from me. Even if I accidentally touch you, I'll break."

That is to say, it is not safe to be around tough people.

A doctor treats a patient. The patient eventually died, and the doctor told the mourners, "If the patient had abstained from alcohol and washed his intestines, he would not have died." The other man replied, "Wise doctor, it is useless for you to say these things now. You should have used them to advise the patient when he was ill."

The story shows that when friends are in trouble, we should give them help in time, instead of saying some useless empty words afterwards.

5. Aesop's Fables

There lived a very lovely gull by the sea. Seagulls fly over the sea every day, fighting with the sea water and fish company, sometimes meet the boat out to sea, it will follow, make a race to fly. When the boaters heard it, they could tell how far they were from the shore. When they were tired of flying at sea, the seagulls sometimes rested on the sail for a while, and sometimes they settled on the bow of the boat to chat with the crew.

The sailor asked the seagull, "Don't you get bored flying about the sea every day?"

"The sea is vast," said the seagull, "and how pleasant it is to live here. What better place than the sea?

"Of course," said the sailor, "we are only on the sea for a while, and one day we must go back to shore. Everything is there, buildings, streets, carriages..."

"I'm sure you'll never want to go back to sea again!" From then on the sea-gull often remembered what the boatman had told him about the shore. On the small island, the seagull told the petrel what the boatman had said. Petrel disapprovingly said: "I don't believe people's words, it is no matter how good, it is not our place to stay." The Petrel tells the seagull's words to the penguin, who tries to dissuade the seagull from believing what people say. Not only did the seagulls not listen to the advice of the petrel and the penguin, but they made up their mind to go to the shore and have a look.

In order to get to the shore, the seagulls get ready. It catches many fish in the sea and has enough food to fly long distances.

The seagulls took a certain direction and flew on and on. After flying for an unknown amount of time, land appeared at last. "The shore is here! The seagulls cheered from the bottom of their hearts. He wanted to take a good look around the coast and see the big houses and wide streets. At last the gull put his head into the sea and caught a big fish. It thrust hard into the belly of the big fish. Unexpectedly, because the fish was too long and too hard, it burst its throat and fell dead on the bank.

Not long after the seagull died, a pigeon flew over. Looking at the dead seagull, the pigeon couldn't help sighing: "If you had stayed well at sea, you would have been all right!"
