THE TITAN CHRONICLES
Chapter One A fresh powdery layer of snow blanketed the ground around the Nano Tech Industries compound on a cold late February night. Dr. Simon Anderson pulled his wool coat tighter around himself, the cold winter air cutting straight to the bone. The scientist was taking his usual nightly stroll around the inside of the compounds outer wall to clear his mind of the days clutter, his normal thermos of coffee half gone. He really enjoyed the solidarity of his walks, being able to focus on the days clutter inside his mind not having the board of directors hounding him to hurry up with this sample or to send that report now.

Dreamer - Chapter 48
The house looked a lot more homely once everything had been unpacked and put away. Dad would be so proud of me for not waiting till he got home to get this done. I just know he would've had some elaborate lecture planned out if I just left every box seated all over the house, unopened and not put away. Although, all this did take me till five in the morning to complete so... he probably would still have had a lecture about why I would decide to unpack rather than prepare myself to be ready for school the next day. Rev would be so proud of me. God. That statement doesn't make me feel any better.

Lou and Mel
“What did your friend just call you? Lou?” Simone had just dropped me off, and my old man neighbor Mel was on his porch, again, craning his neck so his wrinkly folds looked even more wrinkly. Ever since his wife Joy died months ago (the sweetest woman who I’d really, really, liked), he literally does nothing else all day except sit out there and be nosy.

A Frosty Summer
Autumn was just about to interrupt the latest summer when this happened. That magical moment when the trees visit her sunny ballroom dressed in gold or red robes is an invitation to slowly strip them away. Growing up in a big city, we anticipated the pleasure of digging with our feet through the rustling carpet that would soon cover the ground. Most adults were absorbed by important tasks after the summer break. So, we built our own world and our own places to live and enjoy. The time had come to move to the Autumn house.

Last Plates
Driving on a dark morning with minimal light passing through the cash family car. The dead of silence loomed in the vehicle as the sun was getting up to see the next day. "Amar, where we go now," asked Nho? Looking into the distance, feelings of anxiety crept up Amar's body like a batch of spiders "…" only silence replied instantly. "Where, Amar," asked Nho. "Sorry, Nho, I was just thinking. We are going to visit one of my friends. They recently got a house in Red Canshal. Hopefully, he'll have space for one more," laughed Amar as he wiped underneath his eyes while the sun began to waltz its way to the sky.
