How I accidentally joined the Illuminati at my high school: Part 3
After months of balancing my dual life as a high school student and a member of "The Owl," I realised that the cost of keeping these secrets was too high. The dark revelations from the hidden diary only strengthened my resolve to leave the secret society. But quitting was easier said than done. The hidden diary I discovered detailed horrifying truths about society. It stated that "The Owl," along with the Illuminati and the Freemasons, was involved in manipulating global events for their gain. The diary hinted at dangerous rituals and unethical practices, showing that society was far from the benevolent guardian of knowledge it claimed to be. The final straw was the revelation that former members who tried to leave faced dire consequences, including threats to their lives. Knowing that I had to be cautious, I started planning my escape. I couldn't simply disappear without arousing suspicion. I began collecting evidence of society’s wrongdoings, hoping to use it as leverage if needed. I also started distancing myself from other members, pretending to be busy with schoolwork and family obligations.

But the rhythm of his world was shattered with the murder of a seemingly random woman found in her upscale apartment. The scene was clean, almost clinical, save for the single, chilling detail: a porcelain doll clutched in the victim's lifeless hand.
