The Fallen Citadel pt 4
FC 4 Irisia, the capital of Journagen stood before us and I was unimpressed. Their wall was meager, and it was hard to believe that this was the mighty magic city I heard about in my travels. Then again, no one was stupid enough to attack the kingdom of magic and shadow beasts head on. Yet, there we were a party of what had to be the dumbest and bravest group of individuals of our kingdom. Their security was very relaxed and only a handful of patrols roamed the walls.

Hidden Places (Part 5)
Previously, in Part 4 Part 5: I was amazed to be in this little place. Location: Middle of Nowhere. Little houses all in a row, seven on this street, the same on the next. Then a “Main Street” road, with a convenience store/gas station, and a miniature school building, and one more road, more like a cul-de-sac, with three slightly bigger houses.

Will's Opposite
“Alright, I want some straight answers.” It was the day after Jistan’s first battle-or, well, the first battle he’d ever seen. He still didn’t understand what had happened. In the end, the Delani had retreated, but they hadn’t seemed to be losing. Jistan didn’t understand battle strategy well enough to know why they pulled out.

The Tense Drive
Part seven of a short story series, based on writing prompts. Written while trying to learn to fight brain fog and perfectionism... and my ADHD. By this point my ADHD brain was screaming “I WILL CONCENTRATE ON LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE! AN ESSAY ON WATCHING PAINT DRY WOULD BE LESS MIND NUMBINGLY BORING.”)

Aftermath of the Apocalypse: A Journal
Day 81 I decided to stay in my Aunt and Uncle’s house another couple days. It is out of the way and all the locks still work. It doesn’t even look like it was looted so that might mean the area is not too dangerous. I slept well last night due to pure exhaustion. I’ve been so hyped up on finding my Aunt and Uncle and going back to Maine. But now that they aren’t here, I just feel so worn out.
