Radio Silence - Part 15
Melanie sat in the living room in front of the small fire she’d managed to make in the fireplace with the help of a pile of newspapers she found stacked at the back door to be taken out for recycling. She sat cross legged, the rifle lying across her lap. She ran her hands up and down its smooth barrel. It was a nice feeling, cold and hard and smooth. The metal was turning warm from the fire. It was oddly comforting. She heard a noise, a loud bang. It came from the back yard. She stood, holding the rifle up and wishing there had been smaller guns in the house but if there were she hadn’t found any. She tip-toed through to the kitchen, the floor boards creaking in protest at her weight no matter how softly and quietly she moved.

Penelope Hampton puffed out her cheeks and looked out of the window. It was a dull, overcast, day. Not one to lift the spirit. Caesar was pacing, sniffing and pawing the front door. ASSAULT ON JUSTICE
The airship loomed through the skies as an electromechanical, ominous threat to its intended targets. Josiah Shark sat at the ship’s controls, Desperado was a coherent navigator, and “Doctor” Luthor Vanderice was at the weapon controls. Bull, Dr. Eclipso, and the Living Lazer would actually prove useful at entering the base just before they all worked together as one to end T.J.’s program and unravel the thought of the union of Teen Justice. Simon, the sinister Cyborg-Man, could only sit on his throne at the vast epicenter of his airship and gloat about the assured success of his latest scheme. He had devised the plans of splitting Teen Justice onto separate missions; even his electronic brain had failed to recognize just how swiftly the villains as individuals would lose against meta-powered adolescents. Simon had since made the adjustment and the union of the Injustice Metas was the result.
