Boomerang of Happiness - 18
A week later, Anna reported for the first day of work as an accountant for the Border Guards. She produced a mixed first impression: While looking through the books to familiarize herself with the specifics, Anna found several significant mistakes and discrepancies, which both upset and impressed the chief accountant. Upset because the newcomer was so quick to pick up on her younger associates’ sloppiness and impressed because they had time to correct everything before the audit looming in two days.

Death Dreams Dire Wolves: Part Eleven
One of many, The Midnight King. Chapter Twenty-One:All those That wait and Watch Manzer and Beatrice are in a terrible panic, they know that whatever that was stepping out of the main building and onto thin air like it was some sort of glass staircase was not something they wanted following them home. As it was they both expected to find sister Therin doing the things that everyone was rumoring her to do, as some sort of Vampire or Cyborg, but the problem seemed to be bigger than that and by a great deal. The scarecrow man was something totally out of their spectrum of beliefs, and boht Manzer and Beatrice saw him force the very will of shadow around him like he was some sort of dark influence.

SPINS - A BRITE Alliance mystery
Chapter Three Why, oh why, did I need to interview someone I knew—like my best friend? Out in the bullpen, I reminded Jack and Harrison about Chrissy’s charm bracelet. We decided the two of them should interview her, and I’d watch. I was too close to the situation to be neutral.

Lake of Souls Chapter 5
Previous Chapter I stared up at the air temple taking in all the subtle whites, grays, and golds that seemed to shimmer with the winds. The temple itself seemed to be almost ethereal in its form as if at any moment it may blow away. I started walking forward towards a grand set of stairs that led to a singular door at the top. While the temple was grandiose the door itself was a simple thing. I had to actually duck down to enter the temple. Upon entering I was now standing in a grandiose foyer. There were easily a dozen doors that I could see as well as a set of stairs leading up to another set of doors. The room is just the same as outside. Everything was shimmering and almost moving around. The colorations were also the same though now more of the white of clouds than anything else.

Dreamer - Chapter 19
Disclaimer: This story has multiple parts. To read the previous part, you can click here. After going around in a complete circle for what felt like hours, I finally found the room I needed and softly knocked on the door. My bag let out a soft beep but I ignored it, giving one more knock a little bit louder than the last. I noticed a teacher begin to walk over and took a step back.

Death Dreams Dire Wolves: Part Two
Chapter Three: Coast on the Wind Manzer makes his way through the open air of the yard. Stepping into a world that changes the entire atmosphere of his resolve as he breathes in the humid pine stained air of a late summer morning, a scent tinged in the industrial salt like aftertaste of small town concrete and early morning exhaust.
