Chapter Nine: The One With Brand New Speculations
"Pregnant? How could you possibly hide a pregnancy? I mean, I know you can, but to the point that nobody knew? That'd be the neighborhood gossip if it got out! They're tight knit around here. From all I heard, you went to school, - lived your life. Once Mew's classmate mentioned to me you had perfect attendance. Really had to brag about you. Through all that, you had admirers." I scoffed, veering the conversation off to the side to catch a breather, for the sake of nobody but myself. "How many months were you then? How did you hide it? Did you have the baby? When? Was it a boy or a girl? Where is it? What was the name? Do you still get to see him or her?"

Chapter Eleven: The One With The Locked Cabinet
"People only think she's quiet because they didn't pay close enough attention. I'm sure you've seen a more outgoing version of her too; you lived with her. Her being quiet, though it's generally true, is almost like a stereotype that people have made specifically for her." Gianni sat down between the parked cars, his feet and bent knees carrying all of his weight. When he said it, he didn't seem like a liar or a fake. It's accurate, I have seen her act crazy and open, but it was rare, and a lot to accept that she'd show that without a problem to someone I never knew. Still, not unbelievable. That didn't mean him shifting to focus to me when we came here for him felt good. It meant that if he was the one that Mew put trust into, then I wanted to trust him too, so I'll be able to say I did.

Chapter Twelve: The One Where Gianni Tells the Truth
"It's okay though. As I promised, I'm not gonna suspect you, because we're supposed to be a team. Admit that suspecting me wasn't right - both of you - and we can move on. My point's been proven. Those close to Camille will have something suspicious about them come up." Gianni reassured me, his arms on either side of my body as he lead me to the couch where he was sitting. He allowed me to sit there until I gained full consciousness and could see normally. "Keep in mind people don't lie only because they're covering up their mistakes or they're afraid of consequences. People might lie to protect someone they love, or the life they had that was buried in the past. There's probably an explanation for this too and we'll figure it out. Don't fret."

Chapter Thirteen: The One With Camille's Note
"It's not what it looks like. I'm not some psycho or stalker or killer or whatever it is you're thinking right now. I just happen to know that stuff. That's it. Simple." Gianni pleaded with the both of us, with a claim that didn't give him any leeway, and was equal to being left unsaid, or maybe he dug himself in a deeper hole. It sure did mess with him; what failed and lame excuses he tried to hand over. "This doesn't have to be overthought. It shouldn't be. You've already thought too much about it. It's like you're hallucinating."

Chapter Fourteen: The One With Her Goodbye and Drops of Blood
To the ones who cared about me, I'm sorry to say this is it, but the good news is that I never planned that a day like this would come. This will shock you as much as it shocks me, so if you see this, it means even if I'm gone, I'm still the same person you knew. God can for once back me up on that. This time came unexpectedly. I've never been the type to count down to the end. Things change, you know? The one thing that I do hope is the forever that I was given was used well, for other people, and not for me, but whatever it is, I sincerely do think this is for the better. This is for you all. I owed it to you, for your own good. Don't feel guilty though. I did this to myself.

Chapter Fifteen: The One With The Anonymous Murder
"You can't just kill my child. We're blood, remember? Does it not bother you that you shot your own cousin? Where's your conscience?" A husky voice, yet a voice so undistinguishable it could pass as a man or woman spoke angrily nearby. I could tell they intended to keep their voice at a whisper level, but the sobs that once fell down their cheeks were hindering whoever it was from doing that. The person put their anger for the shooter first evidently, but what made it more unsettling is the voice was eerily familiar, like I've heard it recently.

Chapter Sixteen: The One With The Weapon Search
"Dead on arrival." I dropped my bag to the floor, but I managed to fall down right along with it. I expected to crash when I came into the house, but I didn't know it'd be that soon. The door was barely propped open by my hand to let me in and I didn't have the energy to push it further.

Chapter Seventeen: The One With The Overdue Evidence
"Can I help you madam?" A woman called out from behind her desk, her police uniform professional, her hair pulled back nicely, and her badge shiny. If I would've went this far when I had that fight with Rachel out front of the station, I probably would've already had this encounter, but I didn't, and I was unprepared for what this was becoming. It might've been harder to handle because of her lack of eye contact and focus on whatever else, that seemed careless I came by.

Chapter Eighteen: The One Where A Suspect Surfaces
"Where would you like me to start, hun?" The officer stated, but she didn't seem like much of one at the moment, and I mean that in the best approach possible. She had her make up done differently, her hair rebonded and blowing in the wind, her nails manicured, a pinkish bow-like headband at the top of her head, and a short popping-colored mini skirt to accompany her (tight) beige top. Nobody would guess her profession this way, and I had the gut feeling that's what she wanted. It's supposed to appear to be a fun day that she can go unrecognized, possibly more for my sake than hers.

Chapter Nineteen: The One With The Interrogation
"I'm Christyl Jane Digal of the Tagbilaran City Police Department, and you, Giselle Dela Cruz, are under arrest for the murder of Camille Leslie Lobrigas and your son, Samuel Taylor Dela Cruz. Anything you say can and will be held against you. You have every right to remain silent."

Chapter Twenty: The One With The Demon On Her Shoulder
"Do you know what you're in here for, Miss Omosura?" The same man said to Rachel, that sent Giselle up and out of the room she was in, and behind bars that rattled loud when shutting even from where I was sitting, to hold her there until further notice. Nothing was official yet.
