Alive by Midnight Chapter 1
Chapter 1 Friday, February 8th Isaac ------- Isaac didn’t own a car. After missing his shot with the girl who might as well have owned his heart, he stood nearly confused as to why he was even in the student parking lot, to begin with. He wish he owned a car but he knew that wasn’t going to change anything, and it didn't. Isaac continued on his way, getting back to the school. Normally he would catch a ride with Mason, they'd probably go hangout a little bit before heading home, but not today. Mason had other plans today, so Isaac started walking. He headed towards the front of the school.

JACK OF DIAMONDS
CHAPTER 21 “Tell me one more time why the fuck we’re doing this in Plymouth?” Reggie asked, looking at Sabini. They were in the small office he had over a sweets shop in Soho. The sunlight broke in through slatted blinds like a thief, making long horizontal stripes on the dark green rug. There were several bookcases filled with nick-nacks of all sorts; porcelean figurines, and crystal goblets, boxing trophies from his youth. The walls were dark panel, hung with paintings of horses and boxers.

The Blessed City
The soft crackling of water on rocks lulled Maleah awake. Rubbing her eyes, she pushed herself off the ground. Eyes wides, she glanced frantically around. The bleak cave resembled her black cell and sent a shivering panic through her before she saw the fire spitting out and the lump outline of a stranger sleeping opposite her.

The Blessed City
The path was long and bumpy as the cursed wagon dragged them through forest debris. In the dull silence, Maleah watched as the sky shifted colors. Twilight arrived as the wagon lurched to a halt. Somewhere off in the close distance, she heard a bell ring.

The Blessed City
Maleah woke to the light crashing of waves against the ship. Through the window, she saw the first rays of dawn break the blackness of the sky. Sitting up, she brushed her fallen mane from her face. She felt around for the tie she'd fashioned to tame it, sighed when she found it had broken in the night.

Who Shot Ya
Standing over Jimmy's body with a blank face as he bled out, red rivers trailed down, absorbed into the ground. Jimmy's faint gasp for air could barely be heard as he lay in a small pool of dirt and blood. "Guess I'm out of bullets. I didn't want to ruin your face for your mug shot. Say cheese," said Amar as he took out his phone aiming at Jimmy's lifeless body. "Take pictures of everything," said Amar, as he placed the pistols in his pockets, looking over his shoulder towards the glass doors. Shaken from what had just taken place, Nho walked over to Amar, asking, "Where do we go." "You are gonna go to a temporary home Nho," responded Amar. "I'm not going to be able to join you because firstborn gotta work. I'll get you out of the temporary home soon, I promise." Holding onto Nho's hand, Amar walked toward the house, "Hold up, Nho," said Amar. Taking off his hoodie, Amar ripped a piece of his shirt off and wrapped it around Nho's eyes. "Okay, I'm navigating you through the house alright" "Okay. Amar, why are my eyes covered," asked Nho as the boys got near the back porch. "I'm not sure if something scary will pop up. If it does, ill take care of it. Plus, this blindfold will help keep you calm", said Amar. "Why group home Amar," asked Nho. Stopping, Amar said, "I'm gonna let go of your hand for a second keep the blindfold on, I'll know if you peek,"
