The Trial of the Century
He got up one morning to think of himself as captured. He did not know why or by whom. He was not allowed to see a lawyer or a judge. He was taken to a dark and dirty room where he was interrogated by two men who wore black suits and hats. They asked him questions that made no sense, such as "What is your name?" and "Do you confess?" He answered truthfully, but they did not seem to listen. They accused him of crimes he had never heard of, such as treason, blasphemy and murder. They showed him documents that were supposed to prove his guilt, but they were written in a language he could not understand. They told him he had no rights, no witnesses, no evidence. He was guilty until proven innocent.

The Last Dive
Anna adored the ocean. She loved the feeling of freedom and wonder that came with diving into the deep blue water and exploring the hidden wonders of marine life. She had been diving since she was a teenager, and she had seen many amazing things: colorful corals, exotic fish, graceful turtles, playful dolphins, and even a few sharks.

The Last Photograph
She had always loved old photographs. The sepia tones, the faded edges, the glimpses of a bygone era. She collected them from flea markets, antique shops, and online auctions. She framed them and hung them on her walls, creating a collage of strangers’ memories.

Edible Bodies
I found the rotting body I had buried the week before. It was finally ready for consumption! It all started as a child, my mother taught me the taste of humans was amazing. She’d hire a sitter for me and have me set the traps. I’d catch her and mother would take her to the woods and bury her. We’d dig her up when the rot kicked in and enjoy the meal. Now that I’m a big boy I can do it all on my own. Yummy, yummy salted guts! I also love guts and nuts. Almonds are my favorite!
