Lillian's Last Laugh
Microfiction Magic Challenge Entry
Lillian was awkward.
Harmless, though.
Or so her peers thought.
They regularly made fun of her quirks and traits.
She laughed it off.
They often stole her lunch without asking and enjoyed hearing her stutter her objections.
Lillian didn’t mind, though.
The next time they laid their thieving hands on her sandwiches and ate them like starved pigs, she just smiled.
The smile turned to laughter as Lillian watched them choking and falling to the floor.
People really need to take more care when choosing what to eat, especially when they belong to a clinical toxicologist.
