Journey of a Raindrop
I feel the ripples of this ocean, spreading to horizon and beyond as Sun’s rays touch my surface. A great trembling occurs and I am torn from my kin as I rise above what was my home. Cold air carries me, racing over sea and desert until I am dropped by the nebulous form I had grown into. Soil and stone loom ever closer until I hit land and shatter, sinking below ground, where I reform and flow, springing forth from ground and now flowing down mountain and through valley, emerging, once more, into the great ocean where I belong.

A Siren Will Sing
The kingdom buzzes. Streamers, wreaths, and a ridiculous amalgamation of hand made signs crowd the waterways. Tails gleam and everyone, maids and men alike, have crafted elaborate hair styles in the hopes of getting even just a moment of attention from the soon-to-be arriving star.

Her Darkest Life
It was a strange day, a bit warm during the day, but too cold during the night. Not knowing what day it is, what time it is, or what the month is. The sky is white. The ground is gray. The land used to be beautiful, glorious, and playful to all people. Days or even months went by, it turned into nothing but an empty, drastic wasteland. The crops and harvest had turned into dried twigs. The buildings and houses were covered in vines, roots, ashes, and heavy dust from the dirt. The walls and doors were rusted. The windows had been shattered and covered with dust. The roads and trails had crumbled.
