Grief, and other horrors
When my brother Sigur died, his sweetheart Bryn took to sleeping in a ring of fire. Sigur's body lay on my mother’s table for a day and a night. From all over the town, women and daughters came and mourned jealously over him, each mother swearing on this and that thing that if only he had lived, he would surely have married a daughter of theirs. “My Gudrun,” said Gunnar’s mother, “certainly caught his eye but a week ago.” The ladies left flowers and trinkets on his body with equal jealousy. If one girl placed a lock of her hair over his heart, no sooner would she have turned her head away to weep than another would snatch it up, and install her own in its place.

The Fiery Canary. Top Story - January 2022.
I saw you in my dreams…fiery canary. High in the sky with your friend at night. Seeing you was almost too good to be true. Way too good to be true. You were a true mystery, a mystery that has gone back for decades. Yet, I got to experience you in all your glory the moment I closed my eyes.

Maeve Meets the Multiverse
Sirens are wailing and lights are blinking. Dolly drops her Akashic book and runs to the MMB. She quickly scans the screens and then announces over the loudspeaker, “We’ve got a major awakening happening in Sector 7. Merlin - Get your sweet cheeks in here, you’ve got a live wire!” Merlin comes running in. Her human – Maeve – is ready to officially meet. Dolly continues to yell with delight over the loudspeaker: “Oh my gawd. It’s happening, it’s friggin’ finally happening!”

Fixed Mistakes
Do you wish you had the power to go back in time? To go back and fix one mistake, to say something you should have said or unsaying something you regret? Well I have the power to go back in time. Why am I telling you this? I wanted my side of the story to get out, before it gets twisted like most supernatural stories do.

The Monster
I The monster entered the house through the back door. The back door, which was really the front door. The sign in the window told everyone to go around to the back door, beside the woodpile, with the foreboding axe foolishly left out – perhaps the axe would have deterred it – but monsters can’t read, so it just slipped inside in broad daylight.

Finding Sksam
As I run faster the green light I can see in the distance gets closer and closer. I’ve never seen a green light like that before. It’s huge and almost looks like. Rainbow but it’s green. It’s pitch black outside and it’s the only form of light I can see. I have no idea where I am or where I am going only that I am 100 % certain I am not on earth anymore. I am alone. There were others with me but when I was running so fast they obviously didn’t catch up to me. My face feels sweaty especially under the mask I am wearing. It’s so icy cold outside almost feels like it’s going to start snowing. I stop running as I hear voices. Voices that are not familiar to me. Some of these voices sound like jibberish . I hope I get to eat soon, I am so hungry and it’s been hours since I’ve had a scrumptious meal.
