The girl and The Guardian owl
Chapter 1 Aiyana’s P.O.V I was walking home to my daughter when a barn owl came flying at me. “OMG, I am so sorry”. The owl said to me. Wait …said to me? “AHHHHHHHH”!! I screamed. The owl screamed back. ‘Wait I’m just going crazy’. I thought to myself. “If you’re thinking you’ve gone crazy then you’re wrong. No, you haven’t gone crazy, I do talk, and you can hear me, which is weird”. The barn owl said. “You can talk, and you think me being able to hear you are weird”? I asked. “Yes, because most humans can’t hear us which is hard when we are trying to warn you guys are in danger”. The owl said. “First off I’m not human and second off you’ve been rambling on and haven’t told me who you are”. I said to them. “Oh, right I’m Zoie, What’s your name”? She asked me. ‘I can’t believe I’m talking with a barn owl named Zoie’. I thought. “My name is Aiyana”. I told her. “Nice to meet you Aiyana. I’m your Guardian owl. I’ve been watching over you since you were a baby”. Zoie said. “Wait what is a Guardian owl”? I asked her. “It’s like a Guardian angel but instead of angels, we’re owls. We are assigned to people who already aren’t human or are about to become not human”. She told me. “Oh. Wait why did you seem surprised that I could hear you if you already know I wasn’t human”? I asked Zoie. “Because your parents had said that you probably not be able to become your true self. They were worried because since your mom was in the transformation from being mortal to a wolf/demon/angel/vampire when she was giving birth to you so they thought that you would stay mortal”. She told me. “Well, I’m not. When I was ten, I started my change after I found out my mom had died because of my grandma. I got my wolf and angel side first. Then when I was 17, I got my vampire and demon side. Last year though I got a fox hybrid. I can’t believe you knew my parents Zoie”. I told her. “I was devastated when I found out about your mother Aiyana, I am so sorry”. She told me. “What I can’t believe even more is you waited until now to show yourself”. I told her. “We aren’t allowed to show ourselves unless we need to, which brings me to my next topic, why I’m here. Your dad is in grave danger Aiyana. He went in on a mission by himself and got himself caught by your ex”. She told me. “And you need me because why”? I asked. “Because your ex has some requests which one is she wants to talk to you. I know you aren’t happy with your dad because he wasn’t here when your mom died but I know you can’t afford to lose your dad too”. She told me. I broke down into tears. “Look even if I wanted to help him which I do, I have no one to watch Kenzie”. I said. I wiped my face. “I have everything all covered. We can change into human form, and I asked one of my trusted friends to watch her. Speaking of which she should be there by now”. She said. I rushed home. I opened the door and saw my very first best friend. “Lilac what are you doing here”? I asked hugging her. “I’m here to babysit Kenzie while you are gone to save your dad”. She told me. “Thank you for doing this. Wait how do you know Zoie”? I asked her. She turned into an owl. “oh”. I said. She turned back into a human. “I’m your daughter’s Guardian owl anyways so I was happy to help you out”. She said. “Well thanks I’m sure Kenzie will be happy to see you again”. I told her. I went to my bedroom and packed my duffle bag for the mission, which my dad was stupid enough to get caught by my dragon ex-girlfriend Lavander. After I packed my bag, I went to Kenzie’s room. She had headphones on and was listening to my I-pod. I tapped her on her shoulder. She jumped. “Mom what are you doing here you should be on your mission”. She told me. “You weren’t listening to music were you”? I asked her. “No, I wasn’t I was eavesdropping, and you have to save Grandpa’s mom I would like to meet him someday and tell mother I say hi and that I hope I can see her soon”. She told me. “I will I promise. Be good my little monkey”. I told her. “I will I promise”. She told me. I kissed her on the head and then left.

CONVOKE
My name is Nicole Lunar. I am twenty-four years old. I live in Bellefontaine, Ohio, in the woods. My great aunt left me a cabin house after she passed away. The house, which is composed of cement and wood, is isolated from the rest of the town. My great aunt didn't have any children, so after graduating with a graphic design degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, I relocated here in search of a new beginning with a slower pace and to be inspired by new creative ideas. Rather than living in a metropolis, which has more pollution and traffic, I’ve been living here for six months now.

Super Silver Song
Main idea for the story: Hi. My name is Silver. I was once a young, careless, free girl living in a small town known as Periodic Element Land. I was content, but that phase in my life soon came to an end when some dude named Gold made me feel so very small. Whenever he was around, I always came in second in everything, and no one seemed to care for me anymore. When I got older I dreamed of becoming a hero, and saving as many people as possible with my secret powers, but so did Gold. When we got older and superer, guess who still came in first. I felt so very left out, and once Bronze left town I was always least wanted, and never good enough. This is my story. (Say before start of song - Silver will have a British accent)

Dark Pride (ch 2)
I jumped a barbed-wire fence with ease, and felt the wind rushing around me, still calling to me, teasing me, begging me to come and play. I ran until I was surrounded by trees and thick brush, and didn't recognize the area I was in. I slipped through the trees with ease, almost as if I knew the land beneath me. The brush seemed to move for me, like I belonged there. Faster and faster, I ran through the brush and leaves, until I came to a steep slope, which surprised me. I nearly slipped and fell down the hill, but the tree branches helped me brace myself on the way down. When I reached the bottom, the slope was so steep that I had no time to stop myself from falling into the river below, and I was going too fast and had nothing left to grab onto. I pushed myself off of the ground and was amazed by the height and distance I was able to get from the jump. It was almost as if I were flying. Thankfully, the river was low, and I landed hard on the bank on the other side. I stood, unable to believe what had just happened, and let out a breath that I hadn't known I'd been holding. Where was I? I had run so hard and so fast, I wasn't sure how far I'd gotten from home. But the rage had subsided. Now I just wanted to find my way home. I knew if I could find a road, that I could find my way. I knew most of the roads in Jefferson City and the surrounding areas, so being lost wasn't really a concern at that point.
