Main idea for the story: Hi. My name is Silver. I was once a young, careless, free girl living in a small town known as Periodic Element Land. I was content, but that phase in my life soon came to an end when some dude named Gold made me feel so very small. Whenever he was around, I always came in second in everything, and no one seemed to care for me anymore. When I got older I dreamed of becoming a hero, and saving as many people as possible with my secret powers, but so did Gold. When we got older and superer, guess who still came in first. I felt so very left out, and once Bronze left town I was always least wanted, and never good enough. This is my story. (Say before start of song - Silver will have a British accent)

How song is structured: Intro, line 1, line 2, bridge part 1, bridge part 2, bridge part 3, chorus, line 1, line 2, bridge part 1, bridge part 2, chorus, outro (same as intro) (and if you have to, extend it, just accordingly…)

I’m Super Silver

Now I am wiser

But when I was younger I

Would only cry-y, why?

(Intro/outro)

I didn’t, no, understand it

Super gold always would win

Since I was a child I was

Always feeling he was above

Where was that young girl

Who felt so special?

(Line 1)

It just didn’t make sense

I saved all of the-em

But he saved mo-ore, oh

That was for su-ure, woah

Better than super Bronze

Then he left town, aww

(Line 2)

My super friend power

Was wanted no longer

Cuz’ he was so strong

Powers go on and o-on

Impressed them all…all

Bu-ut…

(Bridge part 1)

You don’t have to have some golden looks

You don’t have to read all the books

On how to be perfe-ect

Cuz’ you are deserving

Just how you are

Yeah, you’ll go so fa-ar…

(Bridge part 2)

Be a super friend

Show off your kindness

So many hearts to mend

So try and be the nicest

Version of yourself

And you will see…

Real you on the shelf…

(Bridge part 3)

You’re silver!

Super Silver!

You glitter!

So silver!

You’re not gold baby

But show em what you mean

Not just silver

Super silver!

(Chorus)

Storyline for reference:

As a young girl I used to have a ton of friends.

Bronze and Gold were my very closest of friends,

experimenting with our amazing powers each and every day.

Bronze’s powers were manipulation.

She always found a way to get what she wanted, when she wanted it.

Her powers were amazing, sure, but after we messed around

too much one day and she convinced the president to go nuts

and never make any sense whatsoever, Periodic Element Land

also went completely out of it, making her at fault of

so many insane tragedies such as the locking

up of dozens of thousands of innocent elements

and thus, the least like element of all of Element Land.

She moved just days later, being banished from the land.

Gold and I decided from that day on to use our powers only

for good, his strength, and mine friend-making.

One day as we were experimenting with our powers

on a summer night in fifth grade Gold and I saw

Calcium hanging onto the end of a cliff,

slipping ever so fast as a result of his grainy-like

hands. I ran to help Calcium up, but instead all

my powers did was make her see my pure

silverness, inside and out, and become my best friend.

Being my best friend, Calcium trusted me to help her

up, but I had no strength. I told her to hold on tight to me,

but what ended up happening as a result of that was nothing

I intended it to be, and instead of me saving Calcium, we both

fell, but only for a pure second, before Gold raced over to us,

grabbing us both, all at once, and pulling us up off of the cliff.

Just right at that moment, a Journalist captured a photo of

Gold’s heroic capacity, and Gold was written in the newspaper

as the strongest, most amazing yet to come in Periodic Element Land.

Well, at least I now had Calcium as a new best friend, right?

I know, I know...that’s not right...Gold didn’t actually do anything wrong…

The opposite really...he saved my life...I mean...yeah...

I should’ve been proud of my bestie, but instead I just felt so crushed,

seeing that photo of me, so small, scrawny, and hopeless in comparison to

Gold’s Hulk-like body and strength. Gold was deemed “Super Gold”, right

then and there, but knowing how much I always wanted to be a superhero

too, Gold demanded to include both of our powers and deem us BOTH

as Supers, me being Super Silver and him of course, Super Gold, like

I previously explained. Being Supers, we began competing in Super

sports and training at the start of 6th grade against Super Copper, since

Bronze was never able to become a Super, being banned already.

She was supposed to become a Super and everyone knew it, but

now she was only looked down on as a villain. At least she was a good one.

At least people knew it. Look at me. I now wished I was Bronze. I wanted to disappear.

I always lost to Super Gold in every race, every weightlifting competition, and

Every swimming contest. Even Super Copper, who was only four would

occasionally beat me, being only a tiny step behind me in everything that

he didn’t. Copper was, of course looked at as higher than me since he was

so much younger. The truth was the competitions were really only between

Super Gold and I, and he was better at everything than me. At least that’s

what I thought...but then one day, years later, in mid ninth grade a big,

huge bear broke through into our peaceful land. Everyone depended

on Super Gold, and Super Gold alone to save the day, but the bear

only continued to get back up again, angrier and angrier each time

Super Gold knocked him down. Super Gold began to cry, and so I

knew I needed to do something. I did. I made friends with the bear

and now he lives peacefully in our land, with no one disliking

him any longer, with me having trained him and every other creature

that lurks around our land. The Supers were meant to rid any creature

who dared to lurch upon our land previously, however now there was no

need, and they just live peacefully with all of us. I was praised a lot for my

deeds in the past, but I made it quite clear that I wanted no place in

competing any longer, and that there is no such thing as a “Super”,

and every element is equal, just special in their own ways. Bronze

Was invited back in apon my wish, and now Bronze, Gold, and I,

along with our long list of friends, both old and new, live together

peacefully in the Periodic Element Land with all of its wonderful,

“super” citizens, because everyone is super. I’m now fine with

coming in second because I’m special in my own way just

like you are. And whenever you forget it, please know that

you’re silver, and you glitter. Thank you.
