Pipe Hero
A gargantuan arm is now wrapped around my neck as they lift me from the car's trunk. A familiar smell of pinecones and grass rush my face as I try to wriggle my way out. It feels like when a small child is trying to wrestle away from their parent, a pit of strength I couldn't hope to cross at this time. I feel the air being squeezed out from within my lungs, gripping my throat with an ever-tightening grasp. A strained, "Aghh--let me go you fucking beast." I try to take in any bit of oxygen that I possibly can at this moment, but it seems futile. I'm desperate for air at this stage, kicking at the figure's chest with my bound legs trying to break free as desperately as I can. I feel my strength depleting, what I have left in the tank is pointless as my limbs are still bound together. I can't even claw at the figure's arm to release me.

Pantheon
When we were given the choice of worship or war, we gladly chose the latter. For an entire year, I had gathered a group of people that I could trust with my life, with the secret and the power of the ship that I had found in Greece. As we knew them, the Gods were not Gods at all but rather men and women armed with such technology that it was simply indistinguishable from magic. I wore the armor that granted me the power of the King of the Gods himself: Zeus. Although I didn't think that I was worthy to lead the new Pantheon, all of my comrades were in agreement; they wouldn’t have had it any other way. For the past year, hundreds of false Gods had risen from the woodwork seemingly one day to the next demanding worship and power.

The Black Witch 12
The return trip from the temple was a surreal one. The lingering existential angst from meeting with a god was flavored with the astonished almost reverent stares of the guards. I followed behind one of the guards who continually stole glances at me over her shoulder while the two behind me bore holes in my head. They asked no questions about the expierence. I am sure they didn't know what to ask. I would not be able to answer the questions even if they had the right ones. The experience was too heavy. The quiet residential streets in the wanning sun only compounded my questioning of reality. The walk passed by in a flash as I wrestled with my view of reality.

Outsider - Chapter 5
It was cold outside the tent and the air was crisp and clear. Last night’s thunderstorm had finally washed away the thick, heavy atmosphere that had plagued the area around Lake Krewa for weeks now. The air was so clean now it almost hurt to inhale it. Each ice-cold breath Ulf exhaled billowed from his mouth like a stream of dragon smoke.

Journey to Jahennah: Chapter One
Nothing out of the ordinary ever usually happened when Lila went to her grandfather’s house. More often than not, she would sit and listen to him tell stories about his life and complain when she dunked biscuits in her tea. However, during this visit, everything seemed different. Perhaps it was her family squeezed into the cramped living room, either squashed onto the sofa or perched uneasily on rickety stools, brows furrowed and talking in hushed voices. Perhaps it was the weather, which, with its overcast sky and brisk, bitter wind, was unusually cold for July. Or perhaps it was her grandfather, who was normally so calm and cheerful, but now sat twitching and mumbling incoherently to himself in his oversized, grey armchair.

Dragon's Bane II: Episode One
Welcome to Threll read the worn wooden sign on the side of the road. Sir Orin had just passed the borders between Threll and the savage lands. As his horse trotted along the path, another sign started to become clearer until he could read it.

Outsider - Chapter 4
Jarl stared up at the ceiling of his room and once again traced one of the hundreds of knotted patterns which had been carved into it. The night seemed to have lasted for an eternity, but now that the gong had sounded through the city, he wished that it could have lasted a little longer. His packed bag was at the foot of his bed. The clothes, dried food and fé he thought he would need for the journey were bundled tightly inside it with military precision.

An Offering Beyond Blood
Laura raised the mug to her lips and sipped slowly, savoring the chocolaty flavor as it washed over her tongue and filled her nostrils with the scent of milk and hot chocolate mix that was probably more sugar than coco. She lay on her old, worn, but still quite loved couch. The cushions had the occasional patch, and most of the embroidery had faded by this point, but the stuffing was still body devouring whenever she laid down for a cat nap and the red had only faded a little bit into a darker red. Today had been wonderful. The sun was coming through her front windows, bathing her with light, and making it the perfect day off for what would have otherwise been a cold and unhappy day.

The Black Witch 11
I spent about two hours scouring the books for information on the god of darkness. While they were widely worshipped being an upper god made directly approaching them hard. With the rarity of contact low as it is the number of people who wrote about their expierences was excidingly rare. That did not dissuade me, and in those two hours I was able to glean a few important bits of ettique. The god of darkness from my readings seemed to be reserved, but a fair being. With the information fresh in my head at the end of the two hours I stood up. "Alright, lets go." The guards had been patient during my study and were ready to go at anytime. We began the mission with my command.

Outsider - Chapter 3
The rain had not stopped for several hours and Astrid could no longer remember what it felt like to wear dry clothes. Every single item was heavy, especially her wolf skin, which weighed down on her like a dead body. The black veil around her face stuck to her like a second skin. Still she carried on, her hammer axe in one hand and her eyes on the wet ground. If the route had once been a road, it had long since been claimed by nature. Thick patches of wild grass knotted with brambles were interrupted only by enormous puddles of muddy sludge. Her boots were covered in the heavy brown mud all the way up to her knees.

Loneliness, it was something Sage had gotten used to long before the end of nations. The unicorn, and rainbow titanic.
Once upon a time, a very long time ago there were the mousy unicorns, the rainbows, and unicorns who gazed upon the titanic, and screamed with joy, "We want to ride all over the world, like Christopher Columbus, please can we ride all over the sea?" The captain of the ship replied, "yes we can!" Juice World the rapper came through after being resurrected from the grave, and said: "yes we can, and I dare anyone to say we cannot!" Juice World landed on the boat from the heavens, strummed his awesome guitar, and shouted, "All aboard come party with us!" Juice World strummed his guitar and sang, "Get wild with it, and crack a smile with it." Then Juice World had all the rainbows, and unicorns, the captain, and everybody jamming while jumping up, and down on the boat while it was being sped up by a whale in a harness connected to the boat. It became about 6:30 pm, and it was time for dinner, everyone was eating crab cakes, lobster, shrimp, and cauliflower salad, the delightful guest Juice World was dining with them all. They all loved it very much, and suddenly Juice World said, " well Just got a call from ma dukes, it is time for me to fly back into outer space to be with Ma plus the crew, goodbye." All the unicorns and rainbows replied in return, "Goodbye Juice World, we would love to see you again, pretty please, being around you is sheer bliss and a joyous delightful time." Juice World said in reply, "Sure I'll be back better than the terminator, and we will rejoice in it while my mom and everyone delights in screaming my songs, and thank you for welcoming me here, and back." The crew on the boat replied, "Thank you, and you are welcome Goodbye for now." The crew on the boat drank cherry crystal light and cried themselves to sleep because they missed the rapper Juice World.
