Sunglow
The shouting was not far from us and I felt as though it was going to crumble away into nothing. We are more than enough to save her a cacophony whispered in the back of my mind. I felt that they wanted blood. Reyna stopped as she turned her hand to face me.

The Ha'aalsheer
The night was cool against Sahel’s skin as he knelt there in the trees and watched them. There were four men in armor, attempting as best they could to move silently. They were moving towards the massive cave entrance burrowed out into the side of the forest lined hill. Sahel closed his eyes for a moment as he looked within his chest and felt the small spark that burned continually within him. The young man looked up towards Solardin's sapphire moon and nodded to the celestial body. He inhaled deeply, taking in the ambient magic in the air as could feel the warmth of his chest spread out further to the rest of his body. He didn’t need to stoke the Fire too great just yet, he was unaware what he would need to face these men.

A Boundless Venture
My eyes opened slowly and I could feel the pain that seemed to radiate warmth from the back of my skull. My limbs were all flailed about as I was on my back in the middle of what looked like an alleyway. Staring up at the sky, I could see the hundreds of lights that illuminated the buildings and their reflection in the night sky. Sitting up, I could hear the cars driving past this alleyway and I could see the people as they traveled.

Dragon's Blood
There weren’t always Dragons in the Valley. Aunor Gilje quickly thought of that fact as he looked up into the heavens and could not remove the smell of charred and burned flesh from his very nostrils. He fought the urge to wretch as he turned himself over onto his side and tried in vain to quell the thrumming behind his eyes. What has become of my home? What is going on? What of the others that I was just with? The thoughts plagued Aunor’s mind as he forced himself onto trembling and weak legs. If the sensation of heat that seemed to come from all directions around him was not answer enough, a quick glance gave the young man all the answers that he had been searching for.

The Great Sinking. Top Story - April 2022.
The hold was cramped and colder than I would have imagined it was although, considering that I was not even supposed to be on such a mythical boat to begin with, it was a miracle in itself. The cramped room however was not the height of luxury that this boat of miracles was made out to be. The smell of dirty bodies and the sounds of growling stomachs were like that of a strange song or of a dance that I had yet to know the words of.

Pantheon
When we were given the choice of worship or war, we gladly chose the latter. For an entire year, I had gathered a group of people that I could trust with my life, with the secret and the power of the ship that I had found in Greece. As we knew them, the Gods were not Gods at all but rather men and women armed with such technology that it was simply indistinguishable from magic. I wore the armor that granted me the power of the King of the Gods himself: Zeus. Although I didn't think that I was worthy to lead the new Pantheon, all of my comrades were in agreement; they wouldn’t have had it any other way. For the past year, hundreds of false Gods had risen from the woodwork seemingly one day to the next demanding worship and power.

Soulless
What makes a human being a human being? Is it the simple indescribable thing that makes them what they are? Their likes and dislikes? Their pain and suffering? If you were to distill a human being into something what would that result create? The answer to that is something that all humans would cling to forever if given the chance to: the soul.

The Hunter
Taras K’ark made his way through the forest carefully as he watched for motion among the treeline. Although thankfully, there was nothing but it didn’t change that he remained on high alert. He looked off towards the younglings as they were with the other Hunter who was telling them the kinds of plants that they could and could not eat or harvest. Taras for his part was not paying attention to what the old warrior was saying, his pale face hardened from years of hard work. There were three diagonal scars across his face and he was blind in his right eye and he was missing his left arm but even with all of that, there was no one who knew plants better than he did.

To Be Judged
The air was warm, almost as though the summer sun was bathing me in its warmth. There was no one else around with me, I alone stood in this clearing in the woods of a strange and empty forest. My head swam as I looked around but only made notice of the almost moonlight quality that filled the air. I was confused and I brought a hand up to the side of my head as I tried to figure out what it was that was going one here.
