Fable
John in Time
John was a time traveler, one of the lucky few who had been given the gift of being able to move through time at will. He had been traveling through the ages for years, visiting different time periods and experiencing history first-hand. But one day, something strange happened. He found himself trapped in the past, unable to return to his own time.

If walls could talk, they would scream. That’s what I did, the first time I awoke. The sudden awareness tore my newly gained sentience apart. The comfortable dormancy of my existence burst apart under the pressure of sensations I had never experienced and disorienting memories of other forms I had taken.

Of God and Humans, 2
God woke up, sat on the edge of his bed for a second, pushed his feet into soft fluffy sleepers and dragged them into the adjacent room, wrapping himself into a plush bathrobe on the way. He so wished he could just sleep a little more, but this was a part of his daily routine, and he knew what skipping it could mean for his charges: A disaster. As it happened many times before.

Tuesday
If walls could talk, I’d have them talk for me. I see her sitting in the study room. The three gigantic monitors build up a wall, shielding her from the California sun. Her eyes are glued to a tiny cell amongst the ocean that’s a google spreadsheet. Her legs tie into a knot, crisscrossed.

How to Build a Firm Foundation
If walls could talk…we would probably all lose our minds. No, not you. Not at all, I think. You seem to be quite sane, although I wonder why you exert yourself this way. All that walking with the others on this strip of earth that must be hundreds of meters long. It makes sense that you would need a break, and then stretch and walk over to somewhere a little more secluded. At least you did not run away because you thought you were hallucinating. You are absolutely all right. I can talk. And I have a story to tell.

If Walls Could Talk...
If walls could talk, what do you think they would say? Would the words be kind? Would lives be ruined perhaps? Could the walls tell jokes or regale us with clever and funny anecdotes? Well, all the above to be honest! My name is Holly, Holly Hotel. Nice to meet you.
