Fable
Beauty & The Beast
Henry stood frozen in place, staring at the most captivating creature he had ever seen. She was fair, with long pearlescent hair and porcelain complexion. She was curled up between the roots of a massive oak, thin arms hugging slender legs. He took note of the impressive antlers sticking out from her crown, in awe of the little berry bushels tangled therein.

It’s Following Me
I aimed, I fired. Then I missed. The Buck saw me. It charged. I started running through the woods, screaming like a little child. The Buck persued. The Buck was now hunting me. I jumped into the bushes. The Buck found me and knocked me out of the bushes. I rolled on the ground. It broke most of my ribs. I was in too much pain to move. It charged me again. I passed out. The Buck dragged me back to its home and placed me on a rock, where I now lay on display.

The Alder Tree
In the middle of the forest stood a majestic Alder Tree, its roots dug deep into the earth. I, a towering White Pine, fondly watched it grow from a sapling. We became great friends, but later, I witnessed its struggles. The years had taken their toll, and it was nearing the end of its life. I watched over it, providing support and comfort, knowing that it was my duty to carry on its legacy. And as I stand here now, I can hear the Alder's whisper in the wind, guiding me to be strong and steadfast, just like it was.

The Terrible Ninja
I was bad at karate. I was bad with weapons. My mask kept falling off and exposing my identity. When I took out my sword the handle hit my face. My trainer believed in me though. He kept practicing with me until I was good. He sent me on a mission to save a kidnapped girl. I rescued her using my new skills. I got back to Nija camp and it had been taken over by giant demonic flying gorillas. I slayed them all, saving the day. Then I returned the kidnapped girl to her parents. Everyone was happy.

Good Mourning
Don't sit up too fast. Being dead will really take it out of you. Sorry. I guess I should have eased into that reveal a bit. I just started on the welcome committee and you're my first arrival so congratulations and condolences are both in order.

Red Plaid Shirts
World War Three ended, and a boy found a cabinet buried in a bombed-out settlement. A rare and complete Bible was found intact, with passages bookmarked by pages torn from an outdoorsman catalog. The pages displayed male models wearing red plaid shirts.
