Fable
Another Time Revisited
'The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished." Followed by the hours, and then the days. Soon after, even the seasons became distorted, with snow falling mid-summer and fiery heat scorching the ground in winter. Night and day changed phases too, the sun began to rise in the west, near dusk and the moon shone at will, in the middle of the day. Language became unrecognizable and all communication faltered. Plagues, pests and vermin ravaged the land and food sources, until all the supplies nearly dwindled to nothing.

Cloak and dagger, code words and Covert Operations.
"The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished". Said the tall, suave, impeccable and exquisitely dressed figure. This Dapper Dan was well turned out, all dressed in black, with a fetching black hood covering the face, completely obscuring any chance I had of identifying him or her. This was someone who demanded and got results.

A Father's Love
The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished. Riley scooped up the water, urgently filling every pot and pan he could muster whilst his hands trembled. Placing the various containers into the wheelbarrow, he rushed back down the hill towards the house, trying desperately not to spill.

Logos Sunbathing on the Edge of the World
I was perched high atop the wall that straddles the edge of the world, basking in the mid-day sun, when the air was rent asunder, and a giant beamed down upon me, blowing great plumes of grey smoke from one of his many orifices through the thin veil between the worlds!
