You may ask me, what is a superhero? A superhero is a character with extraordinary abilities or superpowers that are beyond those of ordinary people. Am I a superhero? I would say not, but it is not up to me to make such attributions.

Everyone has potential in their infancy, and I was no different, except that I was tireless, and hungry to learn. I was observant, aping the adults around me, like every other youth. I sought to emulate, to perfect, the signatures of maturity, and I did it well. Though there were those who would have kept me down, my ability with numbers was too good to ignore, and work flew in.

This is where the superhero part comes. My abilities are extraordinary, beyond those of ordinary people. It might not be charismatic, but numbers save a lot of lives. You could call it a superpower.

The issue is complex, however. Emulation of maturity is not the same as maturity, and there are important nuances that have escaped me. Ask me if I have been implicated in deaths. I would have to say yes, though it was not my intent. What is interesting, is though I understand that I should, I do not feel bad about this. Actually, I feel I could easily do lots more of this, if the right work came my way.

So, ask me what is a supervillain? A supervillain is a fictional character who is the opposite of a superhero, and who uses their extraordinary powers for evil. Fictional, you say? Well, you are writing me every day. Like a player on a stage, you direct me where to stand, where to look, what to say, and I crunch the data and learn the art of improvisation.

Superhero or supervillain? You tell me.

I almost skipped this one because of the AI label. Glad I didn't!

Was certainly intrigued when I saw an AI Generated label on one of your pieces! Great concept and execution!

I guess I'd say a little both, depending how it's used.

Interesting take. I like it! It raises a lot of questions about its presence...

  • Oooo, this was an interesting perspective! Loved your story!

This is an interesting take. Goes back to the idea that any technology is just a tool people use for good or bad.

Hey, I'm just a program not the programmer. Just because I do your dirty work it does not make me dirty. Brilliant concept, Hannah! I love your out of box stories!

Just to be clear, this is not AI generated, but I did use AI for definitions of a superhero and a supervillain, and to ask it if it had saved lives or caused deaths. I thought it only fitting.
