Breathe…..1,2,3

Exhale…..4,5,6

And Again, in…and now out. Letting go of every single thing in your mind. Release your jaw, and breathe. Let the tension fall away like the leaves in a gentle breeze.

Gooood….

Something about the sound of her voice, gently reminding me to breathe, seemed to be the very thing keeping me connected.

Combined with the song of the blue birds, just outside my window, settled into me, a calm I hadn’t felt in years.

The sky could have split open and poured over me like fire, and I would have believed it was her voice, washing over me. Cleansing me from the inside out.

I didn’t know how she did it, and I didn’t care. She had rescued me from a raging storm that had been brewing in my mind, threatening to destroy everything I was.

Somehow, she found the keys to the door I had been guarding. The one I thought was protecting me from the world.

Turns out, it was a prison gate, and she came in and freed me from my own fear and doubt. That sadness and anger built.

Together, we gave them love, and set them free, opening the door and my heart to the joy awaiting me.

Breathe….

Exhale….

Live….!

Reading this relaxes me. The scenes it brings to mind are even relaxing just like the image you chose.
