This was an actual flyer, that I paid to have made, and it was after the Delaware State Police had without a doubt developed the suspect in the shooting.

Richard L Jacobs Jr. was my son, and this flyer was made up, and circulated, after the Delaware State Police and the US Marshalls had completed their investigation.

If you are reading this article, there is nothing racist about what they found. The killer of my son, could have been any race, or gender, and I would have wanted justice.

If you find yourself in a position of having a loved one murdered, and you want justice, I have written this for YOU!

Instructions of HOW TO CATCH A KILLER!

1. Find out the facts

The murder of son caught me off guard, - I actually said, "Who would want to shoot Richard, everyone loved Richard."

However, when all the facts came out, not everyone loved Richard.

Visit the area, in this case it was the a park, a community of mobile homes, which was known for drugs, violence, and crimes that were horrendous.

2. Interviewing Relevant People

I was a fish out of water, when it came to that environment. I interviewed people that I would normally have been frightened of.

However, it was the only way, that I could find out, "Just what the hell was my honor student doing in this sewer pit."

Richard, was 44 years of age, and he just lost his wife to liver failure. The police said his cell phone, indicated he was ordering drugs. However was he?

We had different flyers we hung. One was of Richard himself, asking for information on his murder. That one we mailed out, around Halloween, and it read on top of the flyer, "Do you know who killed me?"

3. Hanging Flyers

I was flying by the seat of my pants, I had never done this before, but in all fairness, I had never lost a son before.

We made this flyer, originally, it stated the basic facts, and it was very effective. People react kindly to hand made flyers, whether it be to offer a service, sell something, or yes, to catch a killer.

Instructions for making a Flyer

1. State your basic facts, whether it was something you want to sell, or a service you want to offer people, or to find a missing person, or yes, to "Catch A Killer."

2. Hang them everywhere is my suggestion. The more the merrier, as they say. You never know when you will get a call. We got calls from the most unusual places.

3. Refresh the flyers, every so often. We hung just paper flyers up, so they had to be replenished every once in a while, they faded from the sun or the rain ruined them.

4. We added information with every new flyer we had made.

5. The one of the killer, we had professionally done. The girl at the copy place was really talented, and she designed it for a nominal fee.

If you are offering a service or something for sale, little tear offs with your phone number on it, would be helpful. However, in the case of looking for a killer, you are better off referring them to crime stoppers, in your state. That is what we did. I also had a burner phone, and that is the number I gave for "Wanted." We only had one phone call on our burner phone, and that didn't amount to anything.

We looked for 2 years and 10 months for the killer of my son, and finally one day, the US Marshals called me, and told me that Anthony McDonald was found deceased, washed up on the shore of a lake, in Dover, Delaware.

It was catching on, the flyers, and before our journey was over, at a convenience store, near the town that my son was murdered in, there was a flyer of a missing girl, hanging right next to our flyer.

The official cause of death of the killer in this case, was per the US Marshall, that Anthony McDonald took an overdose of drugs, and fell in the lake. He also said, that he was dead before he hit the water.
