Mrs. Claus, her elbows on the bar counter, sipped her eggnog. "Are you really going to do this, dear?"
Santa twisted his belt. "It's time for a Santa update. Out with the old Santa, and in with the new.
He made his way to the elves gathered in his workshop. "Attention! I'm changing my look this year!"
With a flourish, he took off his signature red coat to reveal...
A neon-green tracksuit emblazoned with "YOLO" in neon lights, and blinking LEDs.
Rudolph twitched his red nose. "We'll need sunglasses for this!"
Santa posed. "It's festive!"
Mrs. Claus sniggered. "A festive mid-life crisis."

Three years later, a group of men dressed as Native Americans boarded a ship and tossed its cargo of tea into Boston Harbor. Their action was dubbed the Boston Tea Party. It was easy to see how a fourteen-year-old boy who lived twenty miles from the big city could be easily confused by the state of the world.
