Samantha The Barista
Choosing a coffee shop leads somewhere.
Sam was in Riverside for the first time in 20 years. He stopped at a new coffee shop and ordered a cup. There was something about the barista.
He waited in front for hours, until she got off work. When she started walking, he was compelled to follow. She played on he phone the whole way, never noticing him.
When she stopped, it was at a house. He awkwardly approached the porch where she sat.
"Why are you following me?"
Sam froze, staring at her. Then he knew, when a woman came outside. She had moms looks, and his eyes.
