A Basic Guide to Life in the Void Space

If you are reading this, then you might be somewhere in the first level of the Void Space. This writing is a guide from the VSSG or the Void Space Survival Group for short. If you are someone new to the Void Space, then you probably have a lot of questions that you need to have answered since you ended up in this strange place from whenever you originally came from. If you are not someone new to this place, then you might want to look back at this guide for a little bit of a refresher if you feel like you need one. After all, there are people who spend a lot of time in this place, but ultimately perish or succumb to something simply because they forgot the basics. Anyway, enough with the introduction, here is some basic information on the Void Space and how you can - hopefully - survive long enough to reach us or any of the less hostile groups that have formed down here.

Now, if you are new, you are probably asking yourself 'what is the Void Space' ? Well, we do not know one hundred percent ourselves what the Void Space is. Even those of us who have been living in this place for our entire lives are not completely sure what this location is or why it exists. All we can do is provide a general idea of what it is. The Void Space - from what we know - is a strange place between a bunch of places in space and time. Nobody knows who or what made this place or why it is the way that it is. All we know is that people seem to end up here - usually at random - when they phase in from whenever they were in the normal world.

As a newcomer, you probably are curious about how you got here. For most, odds are you ended up in this place because you were going about your life and happened to 'slip' into this place between different parts of reality. Maybe you were walking in your bedroom one day before falling through the floor and landing in this odd location. Maybe you were going on a relaxing jog outdoors before descending through the sidewalk into the Void Space. We have even heard of cases where someone opened a door they had walked through a million times before and ended up here because this door - one they had walked through many times in the past without issue - randomly became a portal to the Void Space this one time. As you can see, it seems to be a degree of chance when it comes to ending up in the Void Space with no real perfectly guaranteed way of how to get stuck here.

Now, the Void Space is strange because it is not just one place, but a variety of different environments - or zones as we like to refer to them - that make up this region. Each of these zones are strange environments, many of them with weird effects or strange laws of physics or other things that make them odd or outright dangerous to explore. Most people who are beginners to the Void Space tend to end up in the first three zones that we have listed, which is where we leave most of these guides to help those unfortunate enough to find themselves here, but we tend to put these guides in any levels that have been documented to have new people pop up there.

If you want to know which zone you are in, we usually put a number on top of the guide marking what zone your guide was dropped in. We also provide information for whatever zone we put these guides in first before providing any information on other things.

Here are some tips and best practices in general when it comes to surviving here:

First, always be careful when moving through these zones and be on the lookout for others. Sure, you might run into some friendly people who can assist you in your life and your journey to find some kind of normalcy here, but you can also find yourself walking into a trap or an entity that would prefer to end you as possible. Use discretion and if someone seems to odd or suspicious, don't trust them and feel free to evade them.

Second, stock up on supplies. There are plenty of different items that can help you as you travel through the Void Space. If you were fortunate enough to phase into this place with supplies already - like a water bottle or phone or backpack or anything else - keep it around. Even junk can be forged into useful items, traded with less hostile groups, or potentially be thrown as a distraction if you come across anything that means you harm. On top of that, there are items you can find around the Void Space at different zones can make your life a lot easier if you get your hands on them.
