The genie raised an eyebrow. "You should have been more specific," he said, his misty shoulders swirling in an arrogant shrug.

"Are you sure I can't have any more wishes?" A slim hope, but she had to ask.

He shook his head.

"Do I have time to argue the technicalities?" she asked.

"No," He smirked. "Enjoy it while it lasts."

Somehow, she was able to take his advice. The view, the rushing wind, the clouds... Was that a buzzard? It really did feel like flying.

She closed her eyes before the impact.

"Guess I should've known. Never trust a geni-"

    Oh, I loved this!! Loved hot it starts out so hopefully and excited, then joyous, then the ending 😅 I can only wonder what she ran into 😅 Be careful with those genies! Awesome work!!

    Loved the idea of a wish going wrong, and you didn't need to write any more for the reader to fill in the gaps. Nice!

    😂 omg this finish 🤣 I also love how the (abrupt) ending confirms the question in the reader's mind from the beginning (What was the wisher not-specific-enough-about?) Brilliant work, L.C. definite contender for this challenge 👏👏👏
