The alarm rang and the cops showed up, guns at our heads. Dammit.

Let’s rewind.

Slowly...I need to work out what went wrong.

Looking at the events in backwards around me, as the whole of time reversed, and the last ten minutes rewound. Looking for something we missed in all the commotion.

Can't...see...it. Scanning everyone as they're rewound, including my accomplices. I’m so glad I “invested” in this ‘Groundhog Day’ tech.

That's it…Pause.

The guard!...I remember him from somewhere else...

Think, George, think.

Clicking a button on my temple, “Computer, bring up footage from the bar where we met to discuss our plans.”

Now to playback in slow motion...where is he...where is he?

Bingo!

Zooming in on Mr Hero...what do we have here?

Officer Lazaensky – undercover cop was tracking us!

Scanning the footage from the bar…did he just make a signal to Jimmy, our getaway driver?…the little twerp sold us out!

So...to get the heist right on the re-run, I need to take him out before he can raise the alarm. Then…I’ll deal with that little getaway twerp once we are home free with the money.

Time to get to my starting position at the entrance. Here we go...

Haha... I had to go in slow motion and rewind too... Enjoyed this 😄

  • But the point of "Groundhog Day" is to get it right, not perfect the heist! That's only a small part of the movie & fails to satisfy beyond the moment.
