Darkness was all around a visor that covered her eyes, it sat on her head blocking her telekinetic powers from being used. Sullie reached up to pull at it but was instantly electrocuted, a horrifying shriek left her lips. "That's not gonna work you know." The cocky voice said. It was Jake, a fellow mutant with shapeshifting capabilities; he brought Sullie back to this horrific place, he coaxed her by pretending to be another experiment who escaped.
“Get this thing off me, do you hear me? Jake, get this thing off and let me out right now!!” Sullie shouted as she slammed her fists onto the glass wall in front of her. Her heart rate quickened as bad memories flooded her mind, there was only one place she could be, and that would be in M. Corp’s containment cell. They have been trafficking and mutating teens in hopes to make superhumans. She banged her fists on the walls, wishing she could attempt to crack the glass to open it.
“Aw, come on sweetie. We both know that you aren’t going anywhere.” Jake sneered, the voice that once calmed her now caused anxiety that made her stomach drop.
“When I get out of here, I promise that you will be dead.” Sullie fumed. Jake grasps his heart, faking to shake at her sentence.
“Oh wow even your threats are pathetic.” He rolls his eyes, and laughs. “Nothing you can do but just sit there and wait for the good doctor.”
"Damn I can't believe I thought this asshole was a good guy.” She thought as she felt her way around the room until she found her cot. Her eyes slowly filled with tears, they spilled from under the visor but she wiped them away quickly.
“Heh, I really thought your telekinetics were supposed to be the strongest out of all the mutants. A pretty cool gift given to you by Dr. Miller, yet you treat it like a curse. So stupid.” Jake said as he finally walked away. Sullie let out a frustrated groan, panic slowly started to bubble within her until she couldn’t take it any longer. An ear piercing scream left her, and then started pacing around her small room doing her best to avoid crashing into the walls. Footsteps from the hall made her jump, her pulse shot up anticipating who it possibly could be.
“Sul? Oh my gosh, they brought you back?” A different voice said in a solemn yet surprised tone
“Jin? ” She cried, going to where she could hear his voice and placed her hand against the glass that was separating them.
"It's alright Sul, I'm right here.” He said. Jin was a guard here at M. Corp, he was the one who had helped Sullie hide away in New York a couple months ago. He was also a mutation experiment, he was a telepath that could communicate with anyone who went through the mutation serum.
“I can’t believe they put a mind blocker on you. I knew Miller was furious about you escaping, but c’mon this is way too much.”
“I’m just happy I get to hear you.” Sullie said ignoring his statement, not trying to relive through her capture. “I’ve missed you.”
“So have I.” He said, all he wanted to do was squeeze her hand to reassure her. “Listen, I’m going to get you out of here, and this time I’m going with you.”
“I'm glad to hear you say that and we can't just leave this time, we have to shut down this whole operation for good.” Sullie said.
"What!? Do you even have a plan set up?” Jin stammered.
“Not really-” Sullie hesitantly started, "but first things first we have to get the hell out of the containment block.".
"Then this is what we’ll do, I’ll come get you once I know the coast is clear, we go to the main entrance and we can figure out the rest then.”

“Sullie! Wake up, let’s go!” Jin whispered as he came to her cell, a bag over his shoulder, ready to leave. "Hurry and hop out, I cut the cells powers system but it's only a matter of time before it reroutes the power"
“Relax, I'm up! Just get this thing off my head please” Sullie asked as she waited for him to guide her out the room.
“Yeah, there’s no way you can get around here with that, it has a tracking device in there.” Jin said. Once he was able to get her out of the cell, he grabbed the key he stole from the main office to turn off the visor. Jin unclipped it, cautiously taking it off with care as Sullie’s eyes began to adjust to her surroundings. Unfortunately, a wave of uneasiness began to wash over her as they both started heading down the long hallway of where other mutations were being kept. She stopped mid in her tracks and was about to tell Jin to wait, when the alarms of the facility went off, and armed guards dropped from the ceiling. Fear set into Sullie as she watched the guards make way for Jake who then placed a vid com for the incoming hologram of Dr. Gloria Miller; the psychotic witch from hell. She had a grin on her face, her frizzy blond hair stuck out wildly and her brown eyes aimed on Sullie. Miller stared down at her like a wolf to its prey.
“Well, I expected this of 114 but not of you 98. Don’t be stupid, surrender now so I can adjust you both, make you... compliant again.” She said with a sinister tone . “And you, experiment 114, how can you be so rude to me, your own mother. Wanting to escape your home.”
“You are not my mother. You’re just the psycho who stole me from my parents.” Sullie said intensely, her eyes trained on the mad doctor. The fear melted away, becoming anger, she knew that she would escape with Jin by her side. Since her powers were no longer blocked by the visor she had a greater chance, in a flash Sullie levitated the guards with her mind, they all gasped as they were slammed to the floor and then back into the air where they were thrown against the wall.
“Jake! Bring them to me dead or alive!” Miller exclaimed as the hologram disappeared. Jake then bursted into a blitz heading for Sullie, his skin started to stretch and pump as muscles began to grow. Punches begin to fly, and unable to keep up from the amount being thrown, Sullie was hit across her face, a punch strong enough to throw her down the hall. The corner of her mouth now dripping blood, her cheek had begun to feel like the skin was nearly torn off.
“What a gentleman.” Sullie retorted as she shook off the pain and got back onto her feet to charge at him. Jin came up from behind Jake, leaping onto his back to put him into a choke hold, making sure to keep his grip tight.
“You two are pathetic, you really think you can stop me in a fist fight?” Jake haughtily said, he had shrunk himself to slip out of Jin’s grip. Sullie and Jin chased after him, all the way into an ammunition room in the building.
"Just where we needed to be.'' Jin quipped
“Where did he go?” Sullie said while trying to catch her breath. Jin looked around scanning the room.
“Stay and guard the door, I’ll see if I can hear his thoughts and find him .” Jin said as he walked around the room. Sullie sensed a presence coming from above her, she looked up to see Jake, once clinging onto an air duct now falling right on top of her. Before she could even react, his body weight had brought her face to the floor. Jin started to run towards them from the very back of the room. Sullie’s body ached and she had lost her wind before she could get up, Jake grabbed her by the legs and threw her against a wall. Sullie gasped at the pain and began to lose consciousness. Jin quickly landed a punch on Jake’s face and then threw a few body shots. Jake, who seemed to take no damage from the hits, began to counter Jin’s attack. Jin began to see that his fighting speed was incomparable to Jake's but tried his best to keep up with his assault. Jake then saw an opening and kicked Jin in the ribs to where the snapping of bones echoed in the room. Jin fell onto his back, hitting his head on the concrete passing out.
“No!” Sullie exclaimed. Jake took the opportunity to go to a chamber, and break it open to grab a rifle.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment. Now I'll prove to Miller that I'm the better mutation, I'm going to savor this.” He jeered walking closer to Sullie. Jake started to aim the gun at her and Sullie froze. So many thoughts ran through Sullie’s mind, but just before the rifle was fired, Sullie snapped back and dodged the bullet. Jake’s cackling made her adrenaline pump, the absolute anger she felt was incomparable and she jumped up to start running towards him. He began to shoot again, but this time she stopped each bullet in midair and forced them back at Jake. She then began to levitate him and held him up high in the air, choking him. Furious rage coursed through her veins, Jake no longer saw her brown eyes, only an abysmal darkness. Only then did Jake begin to show fear, his lungs begged for air, his clear blue eyes now became bloodshot. She focused her mind on him and all the cruel memories of how Jake used her vulnerable feelings to get close to her and how he captured her flooded her. With complete control, she raised her palm to face his direction and then when she closed her hand into a fist and-
His head imploded.
Fluids and other substances spurted from the headless twitching body. Sullie sighed deeply, before letting the body fall. She turned and rushed to Jin who had begun to come to, gasping and trying to speak
“Shh, don’t talk. I can’t heal you, but I can try to put the ribs back in place.” She said softly. Sullie placed her hand over his chest and focused on the injury; Jin felt the bone crack into place and he groaned.
"Thank you, now let's get going. ” He croaked.
“Right, let me levitate you out from here on out.” She said as she helped him onto his feet. He looked at her with a smile on his face, “Don't worry I think I can manage.”
“Watch out Miller. Hell is coming to you.”
