Do Not Read This
This Is The Abyss Of Nought, The Void Of Nothing - An Experimental Story

You saw the instruction, and you ignored it. Why do we never believe what we are told? If we see a sign saying "Wet Paint", we have to touch it to make sure and then complain if it stains our clothes or fingers.
You should not have come in here. It is dark and empty, there is nothing here for you or anyone who has opened up the Vocal story.
If you are in here, I would love to know why you are here.
This is nothing but a place of emptiness; a place for the curious and lost, but there is nothing to see, hear, feel, touch or taste; there is not even a chair or stool to sit down on.
There may be walls, but they are not clear, and now that you are here, it is not clear how you can leave this place, even though that is what you want to do.
There is something here, you, your curiosity, and your imagination.
That is your way out, your mind will find the way out and who knows what your imagination will create, I am sure that we will all find out soon.

I wouldn't put me in charge of the red button.... Great short story, Mike
There is something about signs. As you say, people read them and do it anyway. I have not quite worked out the psychology of why, but it annoys me. "Dogs are not allowed." They take their dogs there anyway. "No Parking - they park there.
I'm back. Did I miss anything?
Such a perfect clickbait title! Of course I had to come in and have a look.
I read it, sorry I couldn't help myself. It's like putting a button in front of me and saying "Do not push."
But what if I don't wanna find the way out, lol. Loved your story!
I wouldn't touch the wet paint. I just got curious and defiant about the title. 😁
