The Spy
A Drabble About A Man I See Almost Every Day

I see a man every day. He has a walking stick, a black coat, dark glasses and a black shapeless hat.
He could be a spy.
He does not wear a gaberdine suit or have a bowtie that is really a camera, but that does not preclude him from being a spy.
I have never spoken to him and probably never will, but once he berated a bus driver for being two minutes late because he was going to miss his train.
He is just one more person that I see every day.
He still might be a spy, though.

Haha. Yeah, he's probably a spy.
🩷'd it!
A mystery man for sure!
He could be anyone, including a banker, though Great drabble, Mike
Such a fun little dribble of a drabble, Mike. And you're right, he could be.
Will there be a part 2 to let us know if he is a spy?
This reminded me of a quote I once heard from the NCIS series, I believe. I find myself thinking of it when I happen to cross paths too often with someone I don't know. "There are two ways to follow someone. The first way, they never notice you. The second way, they only notice you." Most likely, it’s just the paranoia of a criminal/mystery show lover. 😅
First, I approve the music this time. ☺️ Now to the story. I love spy stories! He certainly sounds intriguing, especially you see him everyday. If I were you, I would take the next opportunity to start a conversation. That’s how you could find out! I also understand his frustration because the bus was late two minutes. That time can, indeed, make you miss a train. It’s happened to me. It’s not nice.
Oooo, he's very mysterious. Loved your story!
