Did You Know?
Vocal Community Microfiction Series - FYI
"Dad."
"Yes?"
"Did you know that some veggies are actually not healthy because of all the pesticides on it?
"Yes, that's why we wash our spinach."
"But did you know that some veggies can make you gassy and hurt your insides?"
"I'm sure there are, but only if you eat them raw."
"Okay, but did you know that there are lots of veggies you don't have to eat all the time because eating them once a week is enough to keep you healthy?"
"..."
"..."
"Eat your broccoli, kid."

Ah! Iβm loving your microfiction series so much, Loryne! Bravo on capturing such big moments in bite-size stories π€©
He has some valid points ππ₯¦
My humble opinion is that Broccoli π₯¦ is the best!! ππβ¨
Lol, at least he tried. Poor kid π€£π€£π
I seem to remember having tried something like this once or twice. It didn't work for me, either. (Mom always used to tell us, "There are starving kids in China!" Our response: "Give us a box, we'll pay for the postage!")
Well now I'm intrigued to know what the vegetables are that only have to be eaten once a week π Oh, wait, am I gullible? π€£
When my children were tiny toddlers, I called broccoli trees and served with a sauce made of cheese. Loved your story!!!πππ
Lol. Yep I had those conversation. Like this one.
Hahaha, nice one, Loryne, I used to try and get out eating certain vegetables but my mom would find another way to make me eat them π
Lol, I'm sure this conversation goes on quite a bit, but not as creative as this kid's attempt was. Great read, Loryne.
Hahahah the ββ¦β exchange part was so clever!
How does anyone not like broccoli, that's what I want to know πππ
