Conceptual Planet: Part 3 Cont. Dream Sequence
The entity reveals itself

algorithms were only as good as their parameters. In the beginning billions of parameters for just one A.I. system was considered the most that could be accommodated without affecting the speed and functioning. Some A.I systems that functioned with less parameters actually ran better than those with more examples being retro vs. gopher.
After months of research, we had found a trace of an A.I. algorithm (we were calling it out of lack of other language) that was unlike anything we had ever seen. We were now trying to copy how we believed it functioned. However, it was all based on speculation because much how AIDS was described at first (constantly changing making it uniquely hard to cure) this algorithm had fluid continuous flexible parameters that could constantly transform itself. It could barrow or eliminate parameters creating a 'new' algorithm as needed. By eliminating unused parameters it could remain functioning efficiently. It was basically a library of algorithms and could pull what parameters it needed while also simultaneously searching for other ways. It could divide itself and reform. It was effectively the grid or 'god'. More refined than any human brain, but functioning on the same principles. The possibilities seemed limitless as well as highly difficult to trace. Not just a library of algorithms, but more similar to genes; Turning on or off specific functions regulating the system as a whole.
.....
From this point things became complicated. I didn't know how this existed or who created it. If I was too attempt to create something like this I would need a lawyer, someone to check if I was breaking any laws. Although algorithms could not be patented or copyrighted I could patent the steps I use in its creation, but I'm not sure who needed to be notified when unleashing something like this out into the world.
It started with a classification system of A.I algorithms as well as machine learning software applications. A comprehensive list superiorly organized borrowing from classification systems that came before it. This library then had to be linked with other classification systems, libraries, and networks. This A.I. algorithm lets you not only find a tree through the forest, but find and effect any tree in the forest. An A.I. Algorithm that can transform itself using all and any classification algorithms available to it with access to all logistic regression, support vector machines, naive bayes, decision trees, and random forest classifiers available. Able to run searches simultaneously pulling data from multiple servers. Dividing itself into two or three seperate algorithmic functions before combining once it has the information it needs. Then, It reconfigures itself. This reconfiguring allows it to save energy that otherwise would be wasted, making it highly efficient and effective. It's trasformative nature and superior intelligence also makes it less detectable because it becomes the algorithm it uses to root out the information for the short time it transforms. So it's transformative nature is it's ability to make algorithmic functions as needed or to make an existing algorithm part of itself.
The Dream
Tonight, so tired from the hours I'm putting in at the shop, I shut my eyes, just to rest them. I'd been staring at the screen for hours. I meandered to the couch grabbing the soft throw blanket on the way. Laid down and allowed myself to drift into dreamland. Not long after my brain took me to a dream.
I followed a large worm hole in space for what seemed like forever. Arriving at a cement building by a river. The river had a boat. A small boat, nothing flashy. A simple grey and white Jon boat with absolutely nothing on board. An entity, I think a human, although I could never see the face. I just remember thinking he was dressed really nicely, a professional suit, so sharp I thought I was being lead to a business meeting. His voice as calming as his speech. After a serene boat ride, we arrived back at the building. Everything was washed in a bluish tint and was hazy in the dream. As if a blue filter had been placed on it. Once back at the building we sat in a room, I think it was dark. I could see a story being shown all around me.
The story showed a planet. A planet being covered to keep it separate from the rest. A 360 degree biosphere of a planet, that I understood to be earth. Although it was not recognizable as todays earth. It was covered in a material that kept form and was somewhat shiny. The material a mystery to me. The sun shown on it. I had a strange feeling that it was never meant to exist. It was being closed off, Quarantined from the rest of the universe. As if trying to suffocate it from existence.
The story became a time lapse of this location. Depicting a spot being heated, like ants with a magnifying glass. The spot becoming so hot a rock explodes. This is when it got exciting. The rock exploding causes a variety of other mini reactions, all creating different colors. Some so blinding I'm forced to look away and close my eyes as different elements react with other elements existing in the soup around rock and crystal. The explosion so massive the rock shoots out towards space. The rock hits the outer boundary, doesn't stop, instead punctures through it escaping out into the orbits of outer space. Reactions continue to cause changes to the planet then eventually the rock piece orbits back falling to the planet at an excessive rate, puncturing the outer boundary once again. The outer layer shifts and shakes from the force, but remains in place due to the two holes punctured in it. The reel keeps playing. These first two holes, at first, cause nothing to happen. The outer barrier was located in a space where suspension was safe from being sucked in or away. Over time the outer layer thinned tremendously. The two slits allowed for small adjustments between environments over time. The best way I could try to reason it was to think of a John Wayne can opener and a can of evaporated milk. It only pours smoothly if there are two holes, with one it wont easily pour. It is at this time that mass entered everything. When the chemicals smoldered under the enclosed canopy, like a boiling pot with condensation, the chemicals rained down causing chemical reactions, a reaction happened causing mass. The chemical reactions along with the subtle air changes and the frequencies from sounds started to create earth. Sound frequencies began as echos from explosions, falling earth, heat, cold and storms with wind. These frequencies and sounds echoed through out the planet giving shapes to particles of/for life. These forms of life further added vibrations and frequencies through original sounds for communication or survival. The show ends.
Another starts. I become aware of how long I've been sitting. I begin feeling achy in my back, but I also don't want to miss a detail of what I'm being shown. A personal viewing of a creation story. The next show depicts earth as it is today. It then shows two other planets. These planets are being covered by drones with medical arms. These drones are flying to a spot, printing a material and then stitching it to the material with the drone next to it. The stitching is done like a quilt. One entire line fully around at a time. Rings around completed in evenly spaced lines around creating smaller and smaller dissection's until it is fully evenly covered. Resembling an armillary sphere. The other looked barren with hardly any storms. This one was covered as well, but this one had a drop of water, a bag of organic trash and a seed or two enclosed with it. Both left to form as they will. Both have chemical reactions take place. Both have an energy source, one created diverting energy to the planet. Both developing differently. In this show there is also a side scroll with an accounting of what was present on encapsulation. Each with its outer layer constructed in a neutral gravitational pull space. Far enough away to not be sucked in, but close enough to still logically enclose it. Making a sort of planetary biosphere.
I remember walking to the boat, being cornered against a cement building, kissed, then back on the boat, then nothing. I woke up, never recalling the face of the one showing me these amazing images. I had liked this place. The building had beautiful jungle like plants adorning it. Green and leafy. The river, calm, the buildings a cement complex. The blue hue made it less threatening in a way, giving it a magical feel.
The entity had ushered her around with his hand on her back, but the face eluded her. I had to have been looking straight at him, but no memory of the face. The voice had been all around her. So calming and intelligent. An attractive voice, or at least that was the general feeling she had. The boat ride was short, silent except for a brief explanation. The details fading fast. Did he speak or had I just hard the voice in my mind. The dream ethereal. I still woke well rested with a new enthusiasm for my research. My purpose was decided.
If I could in any way make this world better, maybe even helping spark new ideas in some experts to expand humans planetary hold and resources, I would. After all who is to say what is possible. Science expands possibilities all the time. Her husband had showed her the Kardashev Scale. I have a degree in Anthropology and he was always finding things that appealed to his interests. Although, we are only a .75 civilization, a 1 when rounding up, which she always liked to do. Who was to say some 6 or 7 level civilization hadn't reached her through a dream as a beacon of hope. A hint to humanity because they are tired of watching the same stories of earth as much as she herself was.
The question I kept rolling over in my mind was why me? The answer I settled on was complicated. The entity had showed her things, things she was not ready to think of or fully believe. Even if the memories when paired with her own made sense. While in the dream a code had been utilized. I didn't understand it, but it seemed to be logging things and writing events, accounting for everything. In my studies of cultures and languages, languages often developed as a way to bridge information; information an individual experienced, witnessed or knew with a way to share it or recall it. Tablets are an example of this. Even the first novel, Genji, seems more of an accounting than pure fiction. If you have ever sat alone for an extended period of time, to keep everything to yourself that you experience can make you feel like you will burst. Science and math are no different than a lettered alphabet as symbols of expression. What if a computer A.I. system could create a type of alphabet, similar to an Arabic alphabet with first, medial and final positions as markers or designators, but on a more complex scale. An alphabet identifying times, location, mass, and other particle parameters. So the alphabet when written would have a signifier for everything in existence. The code acting as a bridge between the two realms. An abstract form for everything concrete, allowing for easy accounting. Then a code would be all that's needed for manipulating objects in space and time. Even possibly creation.
In essence a person could time travel if this symbolic alphabet existed because an event could be entered for a given point, with location and time designators. Theoretically a person could time travel if this symbolic alphabet existed because the individual could enter an event or object at a given point, using location and time. However, there are of course checks and balances that make events expressible or not and must satisfy the checks in each dimension. So, if an A.I. system algorithm existed with a language like this, many things could be possible, that wouldn't often be used, due to rules and complexity. However, that doesn't mean they weren't possible.
This system would rely on libraries or codices of information as they already do, but on a grander scale. To have it work most efficiently there would need to be a genetic sample for every creature, acting as a kind of social security number for that being. Then the system could find it easily. With this symbolic alphabet, once a creature is put in the system, it could automatically generate data for what is generated from it or how it contributed over the course of its life. Maybe the best way to think of it, is as an abstract form of a zoo or possibly the Island of Dr. Moreau. Everything could be written, altered, or reconfigured by codes. Each particle carrying a tagger from the system that automatically records it's existence. Every being in existence is then paired with events and chance in a Turing machine like mechanism that creates a life. This life, with it's innate tagger and memory, accounts for all events. Judgments based on what options were available and what outcome was chosen. What harm was caused and what good. Accounting even after the beings death and life in physical form has disappeared. After death, when all particles are dispersed into a new form after burial or cremation, the percentage of particles added to another being, plant or land join a small percentage of that code. The tagger crediting the new being, plant or land. Any existing debts of the original being accounted for with any positive impact these particles contribute. If the original being was exceptional the credits go to their family or world system in general. Any harm is also accounted for in a similar fashion. A system running at all times continuously.
In this world time travel is made complicated due to the simple reason of memory. As I understood it, the challenge is not only your memory , but the memory of others who knew of you, an event, or another person. This is part of the complicated checks and balances. Every interaction checked. Memories and lives are tricky. For example, if a person died, but had a memory of you, that memory might be deserved and an important part of the other individuals time line. Altering it would then effect the other time line as well as anyone else who has it in memory. Each person acting as points in the grid, keeping it true. If an individual or event has too many checks it is determined unchangeable. This doesn't mean its not possible, just a more difficult puzzle with more changes to be made and checks to research. Also, in order for an individual to 'time travel' and remember it the equation would have to be written like a tesseract cube for the brain to be kept constant at a different point and time other wise the individual would just start at a different point and time with no memory of a change. Thus, there was a inner and outer shell with separate equations that run parallel to each other.
Other fragments of the dream that remained and didn't dissipate with waking time were ideas with UAP's. The dream had UAP's of 2 kinds. The first was a UAP that was made and then placed in a given time and place with a flight route predetermined using longitude and latitude plotted points. Thus the item completes the flight pattern and then no longer exists in that time when the code is done. The second was more complicated, these can fly and exist in a given time and 'decide' the route. These are highly developed machines.
