Closed For Business

Heaven Closes Its Doors

Sherry had been back on Earth for some time now after Heaven closed Its doors. Waking in a cold sweat from the same recurring dream became the norm for her, like so many others who would succumb to the infinite purgatory of the dense physical plane.

It seemed like only moments prior she had arrived at Heaven’s Pearly Gates with much anticipation, only to be greeted by a sign that said, “Going Out of Business”. Her heart sank, and in that moment, the heart-shaped locket fell from her breast into the clouds.

“Greetings, Sherry, I will be your guide while you are here. Let me show you around before the train arrives.

“Train?” Sherry said, confused. It didn’t take long before she understood.

You’re welcome to take anything you’d like back with you, anything that you think might help”, St. Peter conveyed, “Wisdom, Love, Joy, and more!” God knows it is needed! She was presented with several glowing balls of light, “Bring them all back with you! Those whose destinations are in the underworld are without these gifts. Though offered, they refused them, holding onto what they were attached to in their physical bodies. They didn’t do the work they promised in the afterlife, and now their souls will forever belong to the underworld, with one foot still in the physical plane. The go-between for all who have fallen. It was like that between Heaven and Earth- before it was decided that we would close shop!“

“What speaks to you, Sherry? The angels? Their Magical qualities? Yes, yes, you can take their essence back with you as well. You must know however, once drawn upon their supplies cannot be replenished. What was once infinite now has an expiration date. Just as each feather from an angel’s wings that is touched by human hands is one less that they have to fly with. One less trip they are able to make between worlds. This will continue until they are no more, at which point they return to The Great Void. I sense that you feel this is discerning.” They walked on.

“Your ancestors and loved ones? Those who have gone before you will go before you once again, having made their choices. Their stories- past, present, future and all potentialities are outlined in the Akashic records, as are yours, and your descendants.”

“What of The Akashic Records, you ask? The records can be individually transported by those who wish. It is advised to take only what you necessitate to be of importance to your own path and that which can be easily carried with you. For once a file is removed from Heaven’s protective light, it will assume the form, weight, and properties of a physical book, subject to deterioration.”

“Where is God in all of this? Dear One, Creation and Destruction, Birth and Death are one in the same; therefore, the Omnipresent is still as such. It is merely Heaven that is closing. All occupants will have to move along. All Helpers of The Omnipresent will eventually return to The Void.”

“What of those who remain on Earth? Those who remain as well as those who return will have the opportunity to live their lives in a sort of immortality, so long as they are able to restore and care for the Earth in a manner that sustains all of life. If the current trend continues, and Earth is completely destroyed, then so shall they be. Since there is no other option, their souls will descend. The consciousness level of humanity will be a combination of those who currently occupy the lower vibration of the planet, those who have one foot in the underworld, along with that of those who return from Heaven, in whatever state they have evolved into. This is why I encourage you to take these Gifts of Light.”

Sherry slipped into her dream state and was awakened again in the same manner. Often confused when she awakened as to what was real and what was a dream. She reached for her heart-shaped locket for comfort- but it was gone. She remembered her meeting with St. Peter and knew it was real. She had died prior and returned to the Earth Plane and enough time had lapsed to accommodate the massive influx of souls, including that of her own return. She looked around at the state of the world and for the Gifts of Light she had been given. Wisdom, Love, Joy, and more. In her prior life, she had not given much thought to the sustainability of the planet, or her responsibility thereof. She fooled herself into believing she had lived a fulfilling life and was ready to embrace The Promise- The Promise from the church of a one-way ticket to Heaven.

But the truth was that The Earth’s vibration was so low when she left, so much already in destruction and extinction, the future was unforeseeable. She realized now that she-and so many others- had only fulfilled the minimum requirements for their life experience. She was looking forward to The Promise.

Something felt drastically wrong. Sherry knew she now had conscious access to True Gifts of Heaven, but with the dwindling, limited guidance from angels and Higher Beings, they were not apparent. These things were available to her before, but she did not seek them out. She felt differently about them now, and she wanted them more than ever! And as her desire grew, her thoughts went back to the locket, to her heart; where discouragement settled in, then despair. The locket was gone, as were the gifts!

As she sank into the feeling of the heart-shaped locket falling from her breast, Sherry witnessed herself slipping into the low vibrations of the Earth Plane along with its other inhabitants. She was no longer at the elated state of Heaven, the state when she received Heaven’s gifts. Just then it struck her- The gifts were INFUSED into her heart-shaped locket! She would find them when she finds the locket-and that which was unknown to her at the time-when she finds Her Own True Heart.

Fourth and Central wasn’t the most glamorous part of town, but nothing was these days. And with so many displaced souls returning from Heaven, the planet at large appeared significantly overcrowded. There was the nightly racing about in what was left of absconded vehicles and endless, aimless wandering afoot- it seemed like nobody slept anymore. People roamed the streets both day and night looking for some sort of pleasure and purpose. It was like a free-for-all as life as she knew it before had gone by the wayside. As she ventured the crowded once-avenues, past sidewalk tents and trash strewn about, Sherry was grateful to find an old, abandoned adobe structure nearby with thick mud walls to squat in. She hovered in the root cellar just below the surface where the earth muffled the cries of re-embodied humans. She was grateful to be in a familiar area, and she felt a sense of safety in the earthen walls away from all of the chaos.

With this new influx, the world had changed overnight. All had an opportunity, as did Sherry, to return with Heaven’s gifts, should they realize their own potential to access them. Those who sought help from the angels and higher beings did so relentlessly, eventually draining them; the angels fulfilling their promises to serve until they could give no more and returned to The Void.

There were moments when all seemed lost. All of the ‘Returns’, including Sherry were sent back with few if any resources, intermixed with those of Lost Hope, fighting for their immortal lives, continuing to disregard each other and the planet. Sherry found it increasingly difficult to have compassion for anyone, let alone herself. Still, some part of her knew better. She thought of St. Peter holding the Glowing Balls of Light. She persistently continued on, hoping to find purpose. She made it her mission to find the locket, calculating her place of death and her soul’s rising. Certain that would be the place where it had fallen through the clouds back to Earth.

Her death prior to her soul’s return happened suddenly after a dissatisfied lifetime of never really revealing her true self. She spoke to no one of her return, admittedly afraid of their judgements as much now as she was prior. In this frame of mind, she was easily persuaded by others. As would have it, two gentlemen in stiff black and grey suits who identified themselves as Fear and Shame gladly handed her a cloak in which to hide. Without thinking she accepted, quickly slipped into a bar incognito and- just as she was about to sit down, a voice spoke to her. From under a refined deep blue cape with golden glowing edges, the voice introduced herself as Wisdom. Mirroring back to Sherry how she moved about in her own cover up so that no one would see her, Wisdom challenged her. She introduced Sherry to her friend, Courage. Wisdom explained that Courage would help her step up into her new role and Sherry, not fully understanding yet what she had just walked into shook hands with Courage. Wisdom then handed Sherry a drink and took her cloak, exposing her to the world.

Sherry had no choice but to move forward with the challenge and proceeded cautiously through the crowded bar with Courage closely by her side. The next person she encountered was loud, boisterous, yelling at the top of their lungs, attracting a crowd of like-minded and like-responding people. This was unsettling at first. They were yelling about all of their dissatisfactions, feeding and fueling off of one another. It became clear that they represented of one of the thoughtform choices that could easily perpetuate the trajectory of their immortal lives. Her first inclination was to flee. When instead something inside of her told her to stay. She listened and reached into those places in her that could relate to the criticisms, the darkness and discomfort. From this place, she felt a sense of compassion emerge for both the others and for herself. She realized this was an act of love. She felt it so deeply, it filled her with tears, and immediately the aura around the crowd brightened.

Just then, out of nowhere a random person jumped out of the crowd onto a bright, light-filled stage and began singing, raising the vibration even higher, shifting and attracting yet another crowd of uplifting, cheering people. Sherry felt the energy lift her immensely; she realized by this demonstration that by having the courage to face her own darkness with love and compassion she had helped to magically alchemize and amplify the energies for herself and others, and through this transformation they were all nourishing each other with a different type of fuel!

Her heart was elated! Sherry was filled with so much Joy, she realized that her new life’s mission on Earth was so much greater than her and that the only person she had been hiding from was herself. Suddenly a sparkle caught the corner of her eye, and Wisdom handed her a gift- I think this belongs to you! Sherry was handed the heart-shaped locket, and a book from the Akashic Records.
