"The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window." Ice froze against the window in a formation where the glass starting to crack in a z shape. Frosted pallets started to show thru the glass as the flame continued to burn brightly through the window. "I just saw something," said Aliesa. The wind blew hard, and the whistling got louder as the full moon appeared brightly in the sky. A sudden dark shadow brisked across the trees and upward towards the woods leaving a trail of black smoke lingering in the wind. "My hair was just pulled, and someone just touched me" said Teina.
She screamed loudly for everyone to hear who was around. Quite frankly they were the only two campers around in that part of the woods. It was only the two of them. Aliesa and Tiena started to pace back and forth with fear filled so much in their eyes they almost came out of their heads. Their eyes became so round that green filled pus began to fall from their eyes and shattered when hit the ground. Both campers had ran off from the group deciding to be rebellious and not listen to the camp rules. Glistening streams of water appeared falling from the sky and as the streams of water grew larger so did her screams. Echoing thru parts of the woods like crackling fire in a fireplace that had just started. Sirens appeared from the west and bright lights shined upwards from the ground where they had been planted 75 years ago. No one ever thought this would actually happen again; nevertheless, it was happening in such an unusual way.
(character) turned around a stick finger appeared in the darkness with light yellow eyes that sent her into a frenzy. Pulsating roots began to form in the ground and the clamoring sound of a bell started to ring as the pulse became louder in the ground. Suddenly, the stick figure climbed up her leg and put its pulsating roots around her head and stared into her eyes. "Please, I do not understand, why are you here she screamed" Tiena. Tightening their grip around Tiena the roots began to shake her back and forth then disappearing behind her with their mouth near her ear. "Make me stop," said the stick figure in such a screeching voice that sent her hairs on the back of her neck shivering as she began to fall to the ground.
Torturing screams came from the end of the cabin were the candle burned brightly in the night light. The cabin shook fiercely as it began to fall into the ground but still stood the candle in the window with frosted icicles still formed on the window. Tiena looked at the flame and it began to burn intensely like a burning pit of firewood in the ground. The kind of fire where it never stopped burning only continuing to flicker intensely over and over. Hypnotizing flickers started to dance under the moonlight and Tiena started to feel a running motion come up her back. It started to crawl all over her body until they came out her ears and disappeared into the ground. Tiena breathing became more harmonized with the pulsating pulse of the bell in the ground. Figures started to appear in the woods in the form of porcupines dragging their feet thru the ground as they became closer. Shooting needles began to fly as Aliesa tried to get up slipping on the green tears that fell from her eyes. She began to cry out loud until she ran into Tiena they both started to scream but their screams never came up. Panicking they both grab each other's hair and began to pull until their hairs slide out like gluey globs of glue.
The candle still burned in the window more fiercely and more prominent than ever swaying back and forth to the loud clamoring sounds of the bell in the ground. Wax began to drop from the lintel slowly forming different shapes as they went down. "I can't feel my hands the hair is burning my skin" Aliesa they both began to run until they reach the ends of the road where they ran up on the other 25 campers. Aliesa and Tiena shifted back and forth until they fell into the lake washing the hair of their hands. Their clothes drenched in muddy water until they began to step outside of the lake looking around at the other campers who looked at them with confused faces. Jim started to come forward but Tiena still kept scream so loudly that the bears began to run between the woods in circles and the other campers started to fall to the ground. Aliesa looked all around at the bears who look just like the porcupines that were at the cabin and suddenly fell into a deep sleep hitting the ground and the rest of the campers came over to her as she continues to scream with tears rolling down her eyes.
Jim stood her up and wiped her eyes with his cloth and all she saw was the image of the candle burning in the window at its lowest point. Stuttering with shaken ice-cold lips she began to open her mouth and roots fell out of her mouth which inserted themselves back into the ground. The ground shook and there were only looking towards the cabin where the candle still burned in the window. In disbelief of what was happening in the woods Jim grabbed her and took her to the tent to lay her down inside the sleeping bag. Her visions she began to see where the sleeping bag began wrap her up like a marshmallow wraps around a stick melting the stick in half as she began to grab her stomach saying that it was falling apart. Jim became really scared and asked where were you and what is going on?" The stick figure appeared in the mist of the opening of the tent and Jim began to have green gooey tears fall from his eyes and when he looked at her she began to appear like a marshmallow melting. Quickly with intensity Jim began to wipe his eyes with his cloth he used earlier. It didn't work. "What have you done, what is this" said Jim. His hands appeared like the porcupines that were running through the woods with Aliesa.
But still the candle burned in the window fiercely dripping waxing from the lintel until it appeared to burn the marshmallow coating from Aliesa's body. The candle went out and the story was over. Was it the cloth that Jim had in his pocket that made the candle stop giving out the intense torture or was it the candle that stop burning that ended the torture?
