A wise man once said that it is not what goes into the mouth of the man that defiles him, but what comes out. While this is true, what we eat certainly can have an effect on our vibrations and physical wellbeing. We are still currently in the third density, after all.

Have you ever had Grandma's home cooking and felt the pure love and warmth that goes into it? What you are feeling when you get all warm and fuzzy after a meal at her house is the vibration that her food was imbued with!

Let me introduce you to vibrational cooking and how you can start blessing your meals with love and healthful energy!

Natural Vibrations of Food

Every base ingredient of every meal has its own unique, original vibration. For example, natural and organic foods that are free of pesticides and other poisons are a much higher vibration than that of poison-treated ones. Though, any fruit or vegetable is an acceptable source of high-vibrations.

Those foods that are lower on the vibrational scale include deep-fried foods, fast food, pesticide-laden vegetables or fruits, animals pumped with hormones or that have been killed inhumanely, and foods that have been prepared in chaotic, negative, or filthy environments.

How to Imbue Your Food With Vibration

Energy is a powerful thing. It can be directed and expressed in a concentrated form and also sit in a space residually. The energy you bring into the kitchen as a whole will affect the quality and vibration of your meals. Keeping a happy, clean kitchen will do wonders!

To change the vibration of your food or add positive, loving, or healing energy to your meal, you can do these following things as you cook:

  • Dance happily
  • Play uplifting music
  • Cook with crystals in the kitchen, or do rituals with your crystals
  • Sing kindly to your food
  • Pray over your food
  • Give endless gratitude for your food and your abundance of it
  • Use a singing bowl over your food
  • Play music tuned to the vibration of your intended effect

Why the Vibration of Your Food Matters

By Fuu J on Unsplash

Everything we consume through any and all of our five senses affects our vibration. A popular phrase amongst modern peoples is to "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil." Like many well-known phrases to live by, this one has significant truth to it.

Food is directly ingested, processed, and absorbed by your body. Every cell becomes that which has been put into it by you. If you eat greens for physical health, you have every reason to put good vibrations into your food for your spiritual health as well.

Another factor to consider when choosing the foods you eat based on how they affect your vibration is how much energy it takes to process and how much energy is given in return. Low vibrational foods give very little to the body in terms of energy and nutrition and require significant amounts of energy to break down. Meats that have been healthily prepared do not require as much energy to break down and give acceptable amounts of energy back to the body. Vegetables and fruits eaten naturally and not stored in high sugar syrups are the best all-around food choice for physical and spiritual health.

Veganism is a good alternative diet if eating animal products and processed foods truly do not fit with your health or spirit ideas, but the decision to engage in this diet should be considered by oneself and their primary care doctor. I, personally, do not engage in veganism, but to each his own.

With All That Said, Food is a Blessing

By Brooke Lark on Unsplash

You have been given the gift of an enormous range of foods that you are able to consume and enjoy. Humans can process foods more easily than animals and have been given the gift of creativity and science. Food is a blessing and should be loved regardless.

If chocolate, ice cream, and cookies give you a little bit of sugar high and make your day that little bit better, indulge in moderation. Food can raise your vibration just by the way it makes you feel, so enjoy a little bit of alcohol and sugar here and there. You should never feel guilty for eating food. If you feel empowered, nurtured, and happy after eating, you're doing it right!
