Even though I am a more well-rounded person now, I still love food more than anything else. I was always interested in how food could bring people together and help them stay close. As I got older, my love for food grew, and I soon started writing about my food adventures online.

Some of the first times I used social media well were on Instagram. By using keywords and saying where I ate, I could get more people to read my blog posts about food. I was rewarded for my hard work and time by getting a loyal following of people who valued my opinions and suggestions as AZFOODGUY.

As I started getting more followers on Instagram, I realized I also needed to grow my following on other platforms. LinkedIn was chosen because it could put me in touch with important people and businesses in the food industry. After I started using TikTok, I couldn't stop. So I ditched LinkedIn.

My first try to use TikTok didn't work at all. I couldn't use the app's features to their fullest because of this. I found it hard to make content for TikTok, and it was even harder to get people to watch my videos. Still, I couldn't stay away from the platform's charm.

As I spent more time on TikTok, I wanted to talk more about animation, food, and the latest trends. I selected a focus that let me combine two of my interests—food and anime—into one. After that, I continued producing vlogs about traditional Japanese culture and travel.

Since one of my Naruto videos was so viral, I decided to expand on the idea. People started watching my videos in numbers that had never been seen before, and AZFOODGUY started to get a loyal following. When the pandemic hit and everyone turned to TikTok to pass the time, the situation became very bad.

Because of my research, I knew that TikTok was being on the verged of being banned. So it was a risky move to go with TikTok. I also knew that not all artists used TikTok and that the time had come to get better at making short films. I spent a lot of time learning how the system worked, watching how other content creators used it, and trying out the different ways to post and view content.

I got more than 200k followers on TikTok in less than two years. This led to me getting 45,000 more Instagram followers. Because of what I've done on TikTok, I now have a much bigger and more engaged audience.

The success of TikTok taught me something important: I need a platform to build a platform. I learned this in 2019 at an influencer conference where other successful artists talked about how they built their online followings.

Even though I don't have much experience, AZFOODGUY have more followers and likes on TikTok and Instagram than many foodies with more experience. I think I've been successful because I'm open to new ideas and always try to get the most out of technology.

As TikTok's popularity started to drop, Instagram made Reels to help its creators get more attention. I got 35,000 Instagram followers because I worked hard in this area. My new personal motto is "Ride the wave." I usually try out whatever is popular at the moment.

My overnight success as a content creator and AZFOODGUY shows that social media promotion works better than traditional methods. From what I've seen, anyone who knows how to market and has an eye for new markets can make money in today's business world.

The next year, I started getting invites to events where influencers were given free entry in exchange for coverage. I was just as excited to share my knowledge as a food influencer as I was to try the delicious food that would be served.

I kept promoting myself and my business at events and virtually. I started working with local restaurants and content creators to spread the word to my followers. AZFOODGUY also started working with people for money to help me start the business. My success so far has been helped a lot by the attention I've gotten on social media.

Even though I was lucky, I never stopped being thankful for my mentors and the chances I was given. I tried out different content formats and ways of doing things to keep up with the constantly changing social media world and stay ahead of the curve.

I have worked hard to get to the top of the pyramid among leaders in the food industry. People in the know even asked me to come to their events. I also made a blog and a membership site so I could share my knowledge and passion with the world.

When I thought about everything I had been through, I was proud of my adventure. Even though I didn't have much experience, I quickly learned the rules of social media and became a representative in my field. And I was excited about the chances that would come my way.

In the end, my story of AZFOODGUY is about sticking with things and coming up with new ideas. It shows that anyone can be successful in the quickly growing fields of social media and influencer marketing if they have the right mindset and plan. It doesn't matter if they have experience or skills in these areas or not. They can be acquired. To reach your goals, you need to acquire them quickly. Anyone who wants to become well-known online should look at what I've done.
