The Best Guacamole Recipe
Guacamole Recipe for Spicy Lovers
Guacamole is a popular Mexican dip that has become beloved worldwide for its creamy texture and vibrant flavor. The primary ingredient in guacamole is ripe avocado, which is mashed to create a smooth base. Traditional guacamole often includes diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and lime juice, offering a balance of freshness and acidity that enhances the creamy richness of the avocado. A touch of salt and, optionally, a hint of heat from ingredients like jalapeños or chili powder can elevate the flavors, creating a versatile dip that can be enjoyed with tortilla chips, tacos, or even as a topping for various dishes.
Rich in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, particularly oleic acid, they help reduce bad cholesterol levels, which can lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. These healthy fats also promote better brain function, support healthy skin, and aid in nutrient absorption, especially fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K. Additionally, avocados are high in fiber, which promotes healthy digestion and can help regulate blood sugar levels, making them an excellent choice for those managing diabetes. In addition to their healthy fats and fiber, avocados are loaded with essential vitamins and minerals, including potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure and maintain fluid balance in the body. They are also a good source of antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin, which support eye health by protecting against age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. With a combination of healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, avocados offer a variety of health benefits, making them a valuable addition to a balanced diet.
I absolutely love having guacamole and chips as a snack. However, I find most guacamole recipes don't have a good zing kick to it and I love eating spicy food, this is a guacamole recipe for the spicy lover, who thinks that the spicier the better. So, here's the ingredients you'll need:
-1 tsp of cumin
-1 Jalepno
-3 Avocados
-1 large tomato (any kind) or seven-ten grape tomatoes
-1/2 of a red onion
-1/2 tsp dried chili peppers
-1/2 tbsp of lime juice
Some people like smashing the avocado first and then adding all the ingredients. I prefer to put all the ingredients in the blender and blend it for a few seconds, just enough to make sure all the ingredients are blended well.
The first step is to cut up the tomatoes and put them in the blender. The next step is taking the avocado and smashing it just enough for it to fit in the blender, I actually use a Nutri bullet blender, so it much smaller than a regular blender. I find it works fast and efficient. You can use my affiliate amazon link just below:
Anyways, then add all the spices and lime juice and blend it all together. Take the whole jalapeño and cut it up including the seeds and add it to the bullet and blend it once more (don't over blend, otherwise the consistency will be wrong). The reason I use jalapeno is because of the health benefits that provides; they contain capsaicin and are a good source of vitamins A and C, which are both essential for immune system health. Vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting cells from damage and supporting collagen production, while vitamin A contributes to good vision and skin health. Jalapeños are also rich in fiber, which aids digestion and promotes gut health. Their combination of vitamins, antioxidants, and capsaicin make jalapeños a flavorful and health-boosting addition to various dishes.
Tortilla chips might seem like a simple snack, but they can actually offer some surprising health benefits when enjoyed the right way. If you’re munching on traditional corn chips, you’re getting a decent source of complex carbs, which are great for energy and keeping your blood sugar stable. They also have fiber, which helps with digestion and can even keep you feeling full longer—so, they can be a good option if you're watching your weight. If you’re opting for chips made from whole corn, you’re also getting some extra nutrients like B vitamins, magnesium, and iron, which are key for keeping your body energized and running smoothly.
In short, guacamole is very yummy and worth making.

This is such a flavorful and spicy twist on the classic guacamole recipe! I’m a sucker for a good hummus, especially with roasted garlic or red pepper. Salsa with a smoky chipotle edge is another favorite.😋
I love guacamole as well. I agree. It's a great snack! I also like flavored salsa like peach salsa for instance.
Good recipe! Congrats on the good food!
