Where Do You Find the Best Pizza In London?
Franco Manca Franco Manca is a chain of pizza restaurants in London – at last count they had at least 25 outlets. This is quality pizza, using fresh ingredients, and served up at an affordable price. I often succumb to their Bermondsey Street branch — a bright, modern space; friendly and efficient staff; and top-drawer pizza. One of the strengths of this place is that it keeps everything fairly simple. There’s six pizzas to choose from on the menu, plus a couple of specials on the board. You can choose to add extras, such as anchovies (always!). They also make a mean chilli oil — I can’t seem to eat pizza anymore without drizzling a bit of chilli oil over everything. This is quality pizza and reasonably priced.

How Nello Ended Up Getting a Reputation as the Worst Ripoff in NYC
Reputation is everything in the restaurant industry. If you don't believe it, take a moment to consider how many restaurants and chains have made it big solely based on the fact that they were spearheaded by celebrity chefs or restaurateurs. For example, would Bobby Flay's Burger Palace really have been as widely known if Bobby Flay himself didn't have his spots on television?

I Love Burgers
I love burgers. I'm Going to Prove It: I’ve got an American Diner in my home. I’ve been to America more times than any other country. If I get a bad burger I cry. I make fresh burgers for my family every month (or I lose the will to live). We once had a party where I cooked the biggest Burger in Norwich – it weighed 5lb and was the size of a large paella pan, it was enclosed in a home-made sesame seed bun which took up the whole oven. If ever a new restaurant opens that specialised in burgers – I’m there. I know exactly how the best burger should be – I’ll prove that too.

My Guide to the Best Coffee in Shoreditch
Shoreditch is a neighbourhood just on the immediate eastern edge of the City of London. It was one of the first areas where the power of inner-city gentrification was demonstrated in the London's current regeneration cycle.

Judging a Restaurant
Today my children fancied chips and curry sauce, a bit unusual for a Sunday but I thought I would indulge them especially since my Northern hubby loves a good haddock and chips from a proper chippy. So after quite a long google search trying to find a good sit down fish and chips restaurant open on a Sunday – there we were tucking in to crispy battered fish with good ole soggy chips and a pot of luscious curry sauce.

My Guide to the Best Cafes in Hoxton, London
Towpath For most of the year, the Regent’s Canal in the Hoxton neighbourhood is best avoided — inhabited only by cyclists and joggers battling each other for space on the narrow canal-side path. Once the sun comes out though it’s a different story.
